As a beginner I’d been looking for a kit/pattern that would be easy to follow but was struggling to find something I wanted to make that had a video tutorial. I stumbled across this set and decided instead I’d buy all the tools and yarn and then just find a tutorial video online for something I wanted to make.This kit has been brilliant in helping me enter the world of crochet. The amount of tools and accessories you get is fantastic and there is plenty of yarn to get you started on any design. The yarn itself is very colourful and really soft/nice to handle. The only slight issue I’ve come across is the yarn does tend to separate as I’m working and I have to twist it every now and again to get the strands together again.I’d definitely recommend this kit to anyone starting out. I’m including two pictures of things I’ve created already using it (note the eyes were not included in the kit).

The hooks also feel very durable and lightweight, suitable for long term use. This kit also includes essential accessories such as stitch markers and yarn needles. They are incredibly handy for keeping track of my progress and neatly finishing off my project.Furthermore, the beginner guide book provided me with clear, step by step instructions on basic crochet stitches which is accompanied by helpful diagrams. With the help of the guide book I quickly learned from my mistakes as well as learning different techniques.This kit worth the price and you are getting what you paid for. It has all the items that you need to crochet in a perfect little bag that’s quality made with fifteen balls of wool to let you practice the craft . The yarn quality is okay, but not amazing—it’s a bit rough and can split while working with it. Also, each yarn ball is quite small (only 25g), so you may run out quickly if you're making anything larger than a basic sample or small project. The hooks are lightweight and ergonomic, but some of the rubber handles feel a bit flimsy after extended use.Overall, it's a decent kit for learning or gifting to someone just starting out, but if you're more experienced or looking to do bigger projects, you’ll probably want to invest in higher-quality yarn and tools down the line. Still, for the price and what's included, it's not a bad deal—it just didn’t wow me.
