Unbelievable !!
I stuck it outside on my air wrapped air conditioner..its magnetic and can be out doors. Nice small wire to run inside..put the amp on and plugged it in..I live in ct. I'm pulling in 64 H.D full meter channels. I honestly thought it was a gimmick...it's not..it's tiny but mighty...

Price/quality
For the price, this antenna is just OK. Not powerful, but range is acceptable.

Surprisingly compact and works quite well!
So here in the DFW area some of the local channels (8 and 11) are hit and miss in terms of reception when using those flat wide antennas that you can use a suction cup to stick on a window, so I wanted to try out a new antenna and this one was available.First thing I was really perplexed by was the size of the box, it looks like a box for a usb power block for a phone charger, so very small. The antenna is honestly super small (see the attached pic compared to my hand for reference) but I’m not judging until I try it. You do need to screw the antenna to the base - simple enough - and then if you so choose, you can screw the amplifier to the antenna and the other side of the amplifier has two wires, one with a usb plug for power, and other other that screws into the tv antenna port. The amplifier will light up blue once it has power, so you’ll know when it’s functioning. I went ahead and performed a new channel scan on the tv and it actually picked up both channel 8 (seems like it’s 8-8 and 8-9, but I think 8-8 is the main channel from what I see) and channel 11 with all the sub channels, which is great because trying to watch football on sundays is sometimes a struggle or non-existent.I initially had the antenna near a window as per recommendation on the instructions, but then moved it right behind the tv for those who don’t care to or don’t have the option of placing it near a window, and the reception has seemingly not suffered unless you walk very close to the antenna or put your hands around it, but that’s to be expected. The box also recommends to keep the antenna away from large power consumption devices such as ac units, elevators, microwaves, etc. as I figure they will impact the reception while in use, again, not a surprise.Overall thoughts, this antenna is super aesthetic and could pass as a decoration, functions quite well, and is VERY small, so if function and form are things you’re both looking for, you’ll get both here.

A must-to-have to watch local TV stations without cable TV subscription
This antenna is really small, which is about 10cm high. It works well with a gain of 28dB. In comparison, my old RadioShack amplifier only has a gain of 15dB. This amplifier is small (only 2x3x5cm), while my old one is 3x8x13cm.Nowadays, with smart TV, people can get all kinds of TV channels without a cable TV subscription. However, you do not have your local TV stations. As your TV sets cannot get all of them clearly, you need this antenna amplifier. I attached the antenna on a window curtain and let TV scan the channels. I got 42 local digital programs. Near the window is the best place to put your antenna. If you have metal windows, the magnetic antenna base would work. This is a cost-effective, high-performance TV antenna amplifier for people without cable TV subscriptions to watch their local TV stations.

just ok
I removed all the extra wires because they didn't help with reception. It's just ok, not great.
