Nice Lures - a bit smaller then I expected though.

Best value bait you can buy for .50 each, period. Bass, pickerel and crappie love these. Have not tried them in salt yet but Im sure they catch. They are tougher than many other comparable style baits and I caught a lot of fish with one bait before splitting apart, but these were mostly non-toothy bass, etc... Very important you fish them on light line to feel bites and cast well since they are such light weight. Im using these with a spinning outfit- 8lb braid to 10lb fluro leader. Have caught many nice sized bass and picks with a lure that is absurdly small. The hook is rather heavy gauge wire for this bait though so you kinda have to hookset them a little bit as opposed to the "reel and lift into them" hookset Id usually use on my finesse swimbaits and lighter jighead minnows. They dont swim that great though. they dont have much tail wobble or body roll if you try and stroll fish them so I deducted a star. They work great hopping the bottom, jerkbait twitching and just slow dragging when its the coldest.

Worked well in my pond, caught several bass and perch.

Perfect for crappies

Usually, I’m not the type to write reviews on Amazon, but this product is amazing. We fish out of Hilo, Hawaii off shore. This little lure worked magic with the Yellowfin Tuna. Ranging from 3-8lbs in size the hooks held up perfectly fine. After 5-7 Tuna the rubber started to rip, but for the price of the lures, we didn’t mind! I highly recommend these to keep on your boat or in your tackle.

I got these lures because I fish a lot and I liked the look of them. I’ve heard it said that all the fish lures are not designed to catch fish, but rather to catch the fishermen who buy them...These have a good life-like appearance especially with the green/blue iridescence along the sides and a nice jiggly tail and a nice upside-down jig hook. And they come at a good price.One of the downsides, and this one is a major deal in my mind, is that the fish lure hangs vertically. The lure hang almost straight down. I would prefer the hook weight and eye be so arranged that the lure hangs almost horizontal, like a real live fish or minnow. It doesn’t need to be perfectly horizontal because it will jerk around when it is jigged.The other issue that can be easily remedied is that the hook point is not particularly sharp out of the package. While the hook can be readily sharpened by a couple swipes on a hook file, some fishermen might not have a hook file and the hooks should really be provided sharp enough to catch fish.It might seem a little harsh, but I deduct two stars of the issues. The lures might still work well for you as long as you can sharpen the hooks adequately, and you can rig up the lure to hang in a manner that you desire.
