These are great and yes you can use them in automotive applications, but they have a tendency to fail when used there. They vibrate, get hot and cold, in northern climates, and then crack. For just about everything else they are great.

Love how easy it is to use

I used them to splice connections on a RS485 loop. Bad connections on these low voltage comm loops can cause data issues. I have had no problems since installing the correct comm wire and these connectors.

I bought for Christmas lights worked out great

I feel like I use these for every project. Low profile so they fit in caseses and strong enough I don't have to work about them breaking.

Trash! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE. The solder does not melt on these and they don’t work like the ones that come in the multipack.

Several of these connectors are inconsistent in size. I have a certain size wire that I bought them for and there is one side that you really really have to push to get stuff in there. The other side slides right in. I wish the consistency was there then they would be great, they shrink good like they’re supposed to when you apply
