I bought this to replace an older feeder that the woodpecker had damaged by pulling off all the flowers. This looks a little sturdier and the hummingbirds seem to love it. Because the liquid sits inside the feeder I have been soaking the base to make sure it is clean. The birds seem to love it and I am very happy with my purchase. Easy to fill and easy to clean.

Love these! Easy to clean and great size, not too big and they’re plastic so not too heavy.The hummingbirds found them and now I have several visitors to my back deck.

I had to update my review after seeing the feeder in action a couple weeks now. The birds got comfortable with it after about a week and now LOVE it. Multiple hummingbirds come all times of day and into evening. They never came that frequently to my cute mason jar feeders. The birds definitely use the perch piece that goes around the base, which my other feeders did not have either. They will sit and relax there and feed for a few minutes which is so cool to watch, you can see so much more about them when they are just perched and aren't moving so fast! The large capacity is excellent. The feeder is made of a very rigid plastic with large thread, so you do have to get the bottom piece started and screwed on exactly the right way without forcing it, or it will either leak or will lock and be hard to re-open. Have had no issues with the flow into the bottom reservoir. After a 90-100's heat wave the feeder itself has not had an issue.

This is a definite case if you get what you pay for. I was hoping that the low price would just be related to it being plastic, but there's no way to take apart the bottom piece to clean it even though it fills with nectar for the birds to feed from. And, more importantly, the moat is designed in such a way that it gives a direct path for ants to go right down the middle of it!!! I'm very disappointed.

Hummers enjoy and I like how this feeder keeps the bees from congregating all around the "flower" unlike the other styles that were bee "magnets". Easy to fill and clean. The ant trap does need to be kept full otherwise those critters do crawl into the feeder.

It's a good size feeder, however the plastic threading on the flower portion is a bit undefined making threading the feeder liquid portion a bit difficult. I expect it will strip out after several uses as it is not a smooth twist. AND it must be fitted perfect or it threads crooked. Better ones out there than this one.....sorry, but I love my hummers and have several feeder types and this one I will not purchase again.....

The hummingbirds have a place to get some energy and we don't have too much of a hassle keeping these clean and filled.
