These pH test strips are super easy to use and work just as expected. I’ve been using them for testing my water and plants, and they give clear, accurate results every time. Ph test strips used to be available at every hardware store and I even remember them being in grocery stores. That is not the case anymore. They are a very simple and inexpensive product to produce which is why I purchased these particularly because they are fairly priced and readily available with enough to have on hand so I won't have to go hunting for them again for a long time.

The color change can be a bit... hard to tell. It is super easy to use, and the value for the money is definitely immediately discernable.

This is just cheap ochre colored construction paper in a matchbox style.The color of the paper is darker than all but the very strongest ph levels. It is good for absolutely nothing, especially not testing the acidity of food such as homemade ACV or canning.I tested it on a 6% vinegar cleaner and it’s just wet thin construction paper (the 6% SHOULD have given a slightly darker color). Bottled water turned green…an 8% ph! Which is of course ridiculous.I don’t even have chemicals in my home that would even be able to trigger the acid levels darker than the paper.Would not trust any reading with this material. It’s more like the “magic” paper that kids wet with water and it changes color…it means nothing.

Color indication was weak at best, no obvious pH reading immediately like some strips. Cheap though
