Size was accurate, keeps a good seal around your ankles, but when wearing in sand, some will still get through but its minimal. I wear them on cruise ships to keep from burning my feet on the pool deck, the neoprene keeps your feet from burning, and the non slip dots on the bottom seem to work. Great for protecting your feet in rough sand with coral pieces or shells like you would experience in most of the Caribbean Islands. Even wore them to play beach volleyball, all good. Would definitely recommend.

I wear a 10-1/2 to 11 US Men’s Shoe depending on the brand and the XL just fit. Overall comfortable but if you walk in rocky areas the sole is a little too thin (only 2 mm). I’ll use these but plan on looking for something with a thicker sole.

After they are stretched out a little they are great.Might be a little annoying to your little toe if you have wide feet. But good and hold up well.

It does it's job. No need to get a name brand. They have many fun colors. Good quality. They fit well. I'm a size 7 I bought a small.

Very effective, the sand did go inside the feet.

They feel a little strange at first with the way they contoured around my feet, but made a huge difference over walking barefooted.*Edit* Have to revise my review because I wore them for the second time today and the soles wore holes through them in the pool.

Unfortunately, I had to return even though I really did not want to. I liked that these were more like socks rather than water shoes. The fit ins length and width was good, but the elastic around the ankle/lower calf was too tight! :(
