This was a gift for a young boy. He is an avid learner of the game and takes the set with him when he is out and about. The pieces are magnetic so no more lost pieces. Everything fits inside the folding board. Easy storage and portability.

Product arrived on time. Appears to have everything needed. The only thing we noticed off was this was clearly returned by someone. One of the packages for the pieces were opened. Thankfully this isn't a gift but a game for our family. Love the magnet feature. Not super strong, but strong enough I think for a game to stay if we needed to walk away from it. It's also a nice feature to have the board fold and hold the pieces for travel or storage when not in use.

Just the right size to be portable, and just enough magnetic pull to keep pieces in place after an accidental bump. If it’s a big bump, they’ll still go flying. So far the case stays closed.

I bought this for my six year old neighbor as he and his brother like to play chess. They like to play it outdoors at the pool, but when other boards gets bumped the pieces move. This keeps the pieces in place. Now, they can also play in the car on road trips and not worry about the stability of the board.
