Just unfold and put in the bottom insert to hold it open. Put on the lid and done. Very sturdy, lots of room and looks great. I would consider it a good value for the money.

I love this product. I bought beige one and brown flip top ottoman. Assembly is so simple , you open it and it assembles itself basically, it's sturdy but not meant as a standing still for adults. They are attractive and to my biggest surprise, none of my 5 cats have decided it is a scratching post, they have not once scratched their claws into it, not sure why but happy they have not done so. One in my bedroom stores about 10 pairs of shoes I had laying around and now I have room to walk. I throw my work duffle bag on it when I get home from work. One in living room stores winter blankets nicely and my feet rest on it while I watch tv. Have had a few months and they still look brand new. I would highly recommend these to people looking to consolidate and make their small homes more spacious. Yes one can sit on one during a party if you have no more chairs, but I like them mostly for the aesthetics and storage capacity and the price is decent for what you get. If I had more space in my home I would buy more of these I like them that much. There is no strange odor to them and cats leave them alone. What are you waiting for? Buy one today.
