I don’t write many reviews, probably should… This had no reviews so I wasn’t sure if it was going to do what I wanted.I bought this for my 86 year old father who’s a retired Marine CWO2. I wanted something that would cast a little broader light so it would better light the Stars and Stripes when waving in the breeze as well as act somewhat as a pathway light since he frequently forgets to turn on lights before he leaves and does not want to waste electricity with automatic lights.I was drawn to the angled lights that in theory should project in the direction they are angled. I will tell you, this light DID NOT disappoint.This is the first day it’s up so I don’t know how long the lights will stay on or how long it will last. I will update my review with more info at a later date. The overcast sky makes it look light outside but the pics were taken about 10:30 pm and we had thunderstorms starting about 5 so the light came on about 7. There is no other light source at the side of the house and you can see from the shadow how much light it is emitting 20 plus feet away.

This seems to be twice as bright as other models that I have used.

I now have 4 solar powered flag pole lights and this is definitely brighter than the others.It fit my flag pole top without any problem, actually it fit a bit better as it was a little thinner allowing more threads from the finial to screw in.It has a simple push button On /Off button, remember to turn it On before raising your flag pole ;)I will have to see how it does long term but for brightness it is a winner.
