These were purchased for two bedrooms in our home and we couldn’t be more pleased. They work exceptionally well and I have noticed, much to my surprise that my morning 2-3 tissue sniffles and sneezing stopped. Also, my nose is no longer stuffed when sleeping at night. All of this was really a surprise as my main purpose in buying was to help with wildfire smoke.Setup was a breeze and I don’t believe these will raise our electricity bill by much as we also have the 400 in our living room. The units are whisper quiet as well. I had read many reviews on Amazon and elsewhere about PuroAir and I don’t regret my decision to go with this brand.

Completing a review of this & the 240.If you're between the two, I'm urging you to get this one, no matter the size of the room.The 240 - has never reacted to any change in air quality and has been in close proximity to chemical cleaning, regular cleaning, area low air quality alerts, it's never changed. I've changed the filter every 6 months and it gets dirty, so it works, but nothing like the 400. It says 1100+ sq ft, and that seems like a much larger area that it should cover.The 400 - for how average 240 is, the 400 is 5/5 stars in every way. If I'm cleaning the bathroom two room away it instantly kicks on and starts picking it up. I cook a ton and people would always come over and smells peppers, onions, garlic, etc even the next day after. No more, not even close. I truly didn't even believe that part of it, I just wanted cleaner air. It does an incredible job and I've noticed a reduction in dust and increase in air quality. Considering replacing my 240 in the bedroom because it just feels like it's a waste of money in comparison.

The newest addition to our "safe room" aka the bedroom... which isn't that big (maybe 350 sq ft). But when it comes to a safe recovery room, I'm gonna over-do stuff, because you can't put a price on your health. Best part, no WiFi, Bluetooth or "SMART" features... just clean air. I like that it has an air quality sensor and it adjusts the fan automatically based on air quality - which it gives you a visual indication of (red, yellow, green). I tested it out by smoking a clove cigarette and it went red pretty quickly. About 6 minutes after I snuffed the cig out, it was back to green again. I verified it with both my Temtop LKC-1000S+ (2nd gen) and my GQ AIR-760 meters and the built in sensor on the purifier seems to be pretty accurate! After laying down with it running for about 2 hours, the air in the room certainly just felt cleaner to me. Nice that it has a HEPA14 filter that takes care of particles down to 0.3 microns - about 700x smaller than a human hair. I've only had it for about 1/2 a day, but so far, I'm happy with it and it'll likely become a permanent addition to our recovery room! Replacement filters are about $50... but if it only needs replaced once a year, I'll be happy. It's also nice that you can put it against a wall if you turn it around with the back facing out.The company may be based in the USA - but the box clearly says Made In China. For that, I'm gonna take off one star. I would only take off 1/2 a star and give it a 4.5 but can't do that on Amazon. It was slightly disappointing as I thought I was getting a USA made product. Slightly deceptive.

I have a room in my home set up kinda, sorta like a man cave. Xbox, 70inch tv, my sneakers, fitted hats, sweat suits and hoodies. A pullout couch, a nice small coffee table for my coffee and honey buns, my jar of of ouu wee and of course my Puroair. I've had it now 2 weeks and so far it's working out well for me. Couldn't even tell I had a personal smoke out in the room. I needed this when I was in high school and I thought I was getting over running the shower water and having the window open at home 🫣😄

Wasn’t quite sure what to expect from this air purifier, but after an extremely easy set up,(literally remove the plastic and plug it in) I was thoroughly impressed. This machine is so quiet and has many different settings to adjust to the room. It has a timer, a sleep mode, an auto setting, or you can manually set it to the fan speed you so desire. It’s sleek and clean looking and I really like the black color in my home. I think I might be purchasing a second one for my mom.

I adore this product. Originally, I bought a 240 and after a year I decided to upgrade and move my 240 to another area. It works very well, anytime something burns or even a strong cleaner is detected, it will turn red. Relatively quiet on med and low settings. When my power goes out, you have to manually turn it back on. Sometimes I forget and I immediately notice a difference in the air when I get home the next day. Really great at helping rid of cooking smells. Overall I love this product and would recommend to anyone considering. While a tad pricey, it’s worth it in my opinion.
