It’s as easy as just following instructions!
I couldn’t lineup everything in a straight line as shown on the brochure, but as long as you follow the order that the filters, tanks, valves, and connections, the system is easy to install. I did have to buy a bunch of pvc connections and pipe to make up the rest of the system but I was able to use all of the parts that came with the package

Filters are great, water softener not so much...
I've been using the Rhino Whole House filtration system for 10 years. Overall, we are quite pleased with it. I can easily taste the difference of our water versus other places without a filtration system. The taste of chemicals and chlorine is NOT in mine, it is in theirs. Our county water comes from a river. It either starts down the water line still a little muddy, or it picks it up along the way. If that sounds familiar to you, the pre-filter in this system is a must! The housing on mine is clear, so I can see the brown mud stains build up in the pre-filter within a week. Every time I change the pre-filter, I think... my family could be drinking that! The Salt-Free descaler does not replace a water softener. I ended up putting replaceable filters on shower heads and the refrigerator water line before realizing that it would be easier to simply reload the salt into the tank once a month. In my estimation, if you have minerals in your water, you'll still need a water softener to keep your pipes, spigots, toilets, bathtub, shower heads, and washer from getting lime build up. Given the price of both, I'd say that you might be better off NOT buying this portion of the system and spending the money on a water softener instead. The cost is relatively the same, although you'll incur the cost of salt or potassium for the years to come. The post-filter does not need changing very often. I change mine every two months, or with every eighth pre-filter change. I would have to assume that means that the charcoal filter tank is doing its job. of cleaning out whatever the pre-filter misses. The UV filter probably works as advertised, but unless you have your water tested and viewed under a microscope, you'll never know. I believe it must, as we've never been sick from our water. The manufacturer recommends changing the UV filter once yearly, so you will need to calculate that into the long-term cost of this system. The only issue that I've had with this system after 10 years of use was right up front. The plumbing attachments that were included with the system leaked. Literally, every single connection leaked water. I picked up replacement parts at a local store and have been doing fine since. I have a pressure reducer where the water comes into the house, so the pressure was within specifications. Since that was 10 years ago, Aquasana may have already resolved this problem.Lastly, the installation of this system is not that difficult. It's harder to move the weight than it is to connect the system to your water line. But, if you are not confident in your plumbing skills, you'll want to get a plumber to install the system. Moreover, if you are not comfortable buying the parts and installing a set of bypass valves to route your water past the filtration system while you change filters, you'll want to buy them as part of your Aquasana system. They are a necessity. The alternative is to shut off the water to your house, drain the pressure, swap the filter/s for new ones, turn the water back on, and purge the air from the pipes. Just put the bypass valves on instead!
