It came out that this is an excellent device- good value of money, so far excellent brewing capacity, although exterior very hot to touch.

Nice stainless pot. Not too heavy, not too light.
Well built for the price. I like stainless over aluminum. This is not too heavy and not too light either. Medium brewing speed but the coffee is well brewed when it is done. The gauge on the front is very handy as well.

Woohoo Coffeeeeeeeeeee Galore!!!
This is a great coffee vat, LOL because it is a 100 cup truckload. I drink a ton of coffffefeeffefeeeleeeeeeaejwfl;j djwejlef aelefwa;k;ewlj. Sorry, I am vibrating pretty bad. As I was saying, I like this percolating coffee maker. I removed one star because the spigot leaks a tad, sometimes. I had a different one which had zero leaking issues but was small and the power switch failed within a few months. So, I decided to buy this one due to other helpful reviews. I like that it doesn't get too warm on the outside, and that it is appealing to the eye, despite the monstrous capacity. It is sometimes difficult to insert the guts for some reason. I manage, and really hesitate to mention such an issue without having a suggestion in order to fix it. Maybe a more precise bore for the lower receptacle which receives the spout from the filter basket.? I don't know how to fix it but I know it needs attention. All that said, given the appropriate size and simplicity, I would buy it again in 50 heartbeats, (That's one heartbeat to most of you), even if they said it might be a tad difficult to get going.Moving on, I decided to incorporate a wi-fi enabled plug to avoid having to operate the manual switch on this pot. I did that to insure a longer life span with this investment. With that device, I am capable of setting a timer for start, shut off, while getting the huge capacity of this beautiful percolator at a great price. I think my approach is wise, informative and friendly advice to other coffee addicts.I am happy with my order and I hope this was helpful. ✔️ Thanks!

Run quietly & get the water super hot!
I bought this when my old hot water urn died. The old one sounded like an airport when heating the water. This one runs so quietly that it's a pleasure! It also gets the water super hot, even hotter than the 5-gallon water dispensers to which I have access in various places. This means that my rejuvenating cups of coffee and tea stay hotter longer and can be savored for more time. The large capacity of this urn means that I have plenty of piping hot water to serve my friends and family as we enjoy treasured time together. I highly recommend this urn.

Sturdy and nice size for 15-40 people
I’ve had this coffee pot for about two months now, and it’s been great! No leaking and so quiet! We use it weekly for a small church service and I can run it even after service starts and it won’t disrupt what’s going on. I do find I need more coffee grounds to make the same amount of coffee as our old pot, not sure why, but that’s the one thing I’ve noticed. It does have a metal strainer basket for the grounds, so it does make cleaning a little tricky if you’re trying to clean up before the coffee pot has totally cooled down. I just handle it with a rag to protect my fingers from the heat and it works fine.Minimum brew amount is 20 cups (a little less than half the capacity of the pot) which would serve maybe 12-15 mugs of coffee. Max is 50 cups.Overall really happy with it!

NOT a percolator for Colorado
I purchased two of these percolators to use at a party and then a conference. The party was a huge FAIL as the coffee came out mere tan water. We figured that we had the ratio wrong (but we followed the instructions? I mean how hard can a percolator be?) and I remade the coffee at the party. Again EPIC FAIL. We ended up having to use a Mr. Coffee - not ideal. After going through 7 pounds of coffee, the next day (not to worry we are coffee roasters and have an abundance of gourmet coffee) and trying numerous iterations and combinations, we finally learned that at an elevation above 4000 feet (we are at nearly 9000 ft) a percolator does not percolate as water boils here about 14 degrees lower than at sea level and to properly extract coffee you need to be at 195 degrees. This percolator gets to 172 degrees at 8800 feet above sea level. Coffee will be under extracted at that temp.I wish we knew this before we purchased these. They will be going back since we cannot use them in Colorado. If you are below 4000 feet, go for it, I am sure they will be a lovely addition to your gathering as they are sleek in design and can make A LOT of coffee. And for those in need of a coffee pot for elevation, Amazon does sell a high altitude coffee pot that brews 10 cups at a time (it's gonna be a long morning since we need to brew for 250 people). On a positive note, how many people can say their conference has baristas that do gourmet coffee pour overs? "0)
