Zlirfy Stainless Steel Exhaust Clamp Band, Universal Widening Butt Joint Clamp, Fit for Exhaust Pipe (2 inch)

I used this on a tailpipe section that had rusted into. I had used products bought at local auto parts stores that did no hold up. This clamp is way heavier than anything I could find locally. It seem to be holding the pipe sections together.

Fits nice and snug on the muffler pipe. Doesn't leak, Works great, Would recommend

I bought a new exhaust for my vehicle and unless I was able to lift the car 5 feet in the air there was no way I was going to be able to thread the end of the exhaust over the axle so I had to cut the end off. This seemed like it would be a good way to permanently mend the exhaust rather than using some kind of patch kit. The piece has some heavy duty bolts which I suppose is a bit of a mixed blessing, good because they seem like they will last bad because it seems over-the-top and a bit heavy. But it all comes together to give a very snug fit on the exhaust. Does not move even if I try to torque on it with both hands after you ratchet the bolts down.One star off, the piece seems quite beefy except for the steel itself. It's somewhat thin. Sure it will last awhile but I could see myself having to do this repair again in a year or two. This coming from a person that made extensive use of soup cans to fix my exhaust as a teenager. At least for me the mend is pretty distant from the manifold so it can lose a lot of heat but if I were closer to the cat I'd be more worried.For $10 though, a good value. The OD for my exhaust was 2" and I bought the 2" version and it fit fine, I mention this only because Amazon had a warning that this is an often returned part. Might just be people buying it that did not need it.

did not fit my car

I used this clamp to repair a large hole in my exhaust pipe that had developed where a hanger was welded. The hole was about the size of a quarter and sounded terrible . I used a grinder to smooth the hanger down and installed this clamp. The installation was very simple and tightened down well and sealed the leak well. I spent about 10 minutes on the clamp installation after the grinder work. This was a cost effective solution until I take it to shop to have it done professionally.

Used on Audi a5 exhaust doing the job but seems very flimsy doubt it will last long. In comparison to the Oem Audi clamp much thinner material and clamp not very strong
