This book is without a doubt one of the best I've read recently. It discusses the philiosophies of the legend Cus D'amato in such a way that really brings you into the mind of the man. I like how the author made the philosophies actionable and relevant by linking it to how we can use it. This book is not just for boxers, or even boxing enthusiasts. It is also for people who are looking to improve their mindset. It isn't that long but it s very easy-to-read, simple to understand and well structures.

Would definitely recommend this book to aspiring athletes and everybody else. There are a lot of gems in this book that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. The book was recommended in Unplugged Alpha and I'm glad I bought this book. As I said, it has many gems and great advice about character, motivation, leadership and professionalism. Five stars.

This is one of the most refreshing informative books I have read that simply changes your mindset as you read it. I have read many books based on mentality that aids success in many fields but this book left me wanting to continue reading learning and evaluating myself to continue growing. I was training for my fight with Tyson. Had to read this before my fight with Mike Tyson. Wouldn’t recommend fighting with Tyson, but definitely read this book.
