Brilliant critter-frustrator
This is the first time in years I've had a garden that hasn't nibbled by deer, rabbits, squirrels, or chipmunks. My plants (jalapeños, tomatoes, arugula, red bells) are thriving. When I fill the reservoir before leaving, we've been able to travel up to 10 days at a time without having to ask our kids to come over and water while we're gone. The vegepod was easy to assemble and is quite sturdy. I'm very happy with it!

Pretty amazing.
I bought just the small one because we live in a mobile home and have small space. The pod was easy to assemble, the only problem I had was placing the small clips that hold the misting cover onto the pod, but a quick consult with a Youtube video and I was all set! It took two bags of garden soil from Lowes to completely fill it. Since this is Arizona, and now is not really a great growing time, I put some seeds in, they sprouted rather quickly, but have not seems to be getting any bigger, probably because of heat stress. I have high hopes for my garden pod, as soon as September hits us here in the desert. A great item, and not too heavy for us (two people in our 70s) to move it even after it was filled with soil. I will buy the tomato pod from same company next month, when I can start a tomato plant here in Tucson, AZ.

Simply wonderful!!
Things started out rocky because two of the pods were broken and cracked on arrival, and it took a few days to get two replacement pods. I would recommend that you watch the videos opposed to trying to follow the written directions as they were more confusing than helpful. If you purchased the large pod, I suggest you decide where you want it and be good with that decision because once you get the soil in, you won’t be able to move it.Putting on the hinged clips had me stumped. I didn’t realize he was removing a piece in order to get the clip to fit. Everything from that point on was a breeze. It took 8 1.5cuft bags of soil to fill along with 4 8qt bags of perlite, this will fill the containers to the rim. I had no issues with the canopy or attaching the hose.I can’t stress enough on watching the videos on Vegepod.com, it’ll make things so much easier when you’re trying to assemble everything.Of course now that I’m ready to move everything outside MD weather is gone into cold mode…just can’t win!

Well constructed raised garden bed
I purchased a small unit from QVC and I was super impressed with the quality of construction. There are online videos that show step by step instructions on how to assemble the raised bed and canopy. So I decided to purchase a medium sized raised bed and leg kit through Amazon. Unit arrived quickly and everything went together easily. My only issue was some important missing parts. The clips that hold the canopy are missing and the zip strips that hold the water misting tube in place are also missing. These are not critical parts but they are important. Without the canopy clips, the canopy gets blown off the garden and without the zip strips the water misting system is not functional.

Such a great product!
I am so happy with this, plants are growing beautifully! I got the large pod and it took a lot of soil (13 bags; 1.5 cubit ft each) and water to fill, but it is all working so well. We left it alone for a week so far with no problem, and So Cal is hot right now. If I get good at this I will be ordering another one! And the customer service from Vegepod is great; a couple of the water mister valves didn't work and they sent the replacements right away. I will say, however, that assembly is challenging if you aren't handy - be patient. Luckily, my husband is handy. I can't speak to maneuverability as ours is stationary (no wheels). A large pod with all of that dirt might stress the legs. Very happy with this product.

Going on 3rd year
I have had the vegepod for 3 years this is my 3rd season getting ready to grow vegetables. The first time my wife bought small vegetable plants to transplant. I purchased the pricy potting mix, mulch ect. You have to start off with the good stuff and keep it going. The plants did very well. Grew pretty fast. The second year I planted seeds. It took longer as they should but the seeds germinated and grew. We had a little storm come through and annihilated two red pepper plants. I planted 3 one survived. I grew squash, egg plant, green peppers, red peppers successfully 2 years in a row in the vegepod. Grew cucumbers the first year.I also purchased a small potable collapsible vegepod. I transplanted one of my squash plants into the collapsible vegepod. I didn't know if it will survive but it did.I know folks may have issue with the price but if it's lasting like it is then it's well worth it. Understand it offers quality material and a watering system with a dome that does a great job protecting the plants, the stand is doing a great job standing up to the weather conditions and it's very sturdy. I live in SC 30 mile from the coast and we get hurricanes and tropical storms. The vegepod, even with the dome, is able to withstand the harsh storms. One piece of advice. If your going to place it in the yard try not to set it up on the grass with out some footing. Pavers is what I recommend to keep the stand from sinking in the ground.

Best raised bed garden ever
Very happy with vegepod. Because things ran a little late, I didn't get to plant until June24. Things are going well. Seeds sprouted quickly, live plants are thriving and kitchen scrap romaine lettuce sprouting nicely. I was thinking about building a raised bed until my hubby saw this on the news. Don't think one could replicate this for the price. Easy assembly. I discovered cover does not let water through. You need an extra clamp around hose attached to watering system. If there's too much water pressure, the hose pops off and its awkward to lean in and reattach it.

Absolutely brilliant
Got this for my Dad who loved growing veg but hasn't for a few years because of poor mobility. It's a considered purchase for most of us, but it's a really wonderful product. You have to assemble it yourself, but they include the tools needed. We sowed seeds late, not deep enough, too close, but everything is growing....everything.!! And Dad is just so happy with it. Well made, well thought out and every single nut and bolt was present and correct. We filled ours with compost, farmyard manure and perlite. It takes a lot to fill it. And you can hinge the lid from any of the four sides., so you can place it where you have space for it. Thinking of getting the smaller one just for flowers...maybe. !!

Very well made
Great instructions. Very easy to put together. Allen key was a bit loose. But looks very strong I have now, but the veggie pod didn’t realise how large it was but that’s okay. The stand has taken it very well.
