Awesome blade I love it and recommend it. Extremely sharp out of the box, well balanced and light, great size.

This knife is small, but it is described accurately so expect that. This is a fun little blade, came very sharp, has 8Cr13Mov so its pretty tough and should be easy to sharpen, and has a great sheath (wish it had a belt loop). Very high cool factor for under $20.

This knife works great on a belt. You can tuck it into your waist band and wear a vest or a jacket or sweater over it in the winter. However, the handle has a really rough texture that doesn't feel good against your skin, so make sure you have a shirt tucked in underneath it. For that reason, and the fact that it's a bit too heavy to be comfortable as a neck knife, I wouldn't consider it ideal for the summer. For that, I recommend the Cold Steel Bird & Game knife. It's almost half the weight, so it's light enough that you don't even think about it when wearing it as a neck knife, unlike this knife! I suppose this knife could be carried outside the waist band if you don't mind showing it off to everyone, but some people might be a little uncomfortable with that.

This is a sharp knife, it is small but well built. I could not ask for a better knife. Specially under 20.00! Great all around knife. So small you could put it in your pocket, and big enough to use for any cutting purpose. I'm happy with this purchase. I have two other pocket knives from this manufacturer cold steel, and I am pleased with the quality and prices of these knives. I will definitely buy more from this company.

Very sharp knife and fits comfortably when wearing it on your neck.It is very ergonomic to use. I thought this would be my favorite EDC knife until this morning about 3 weeks later.I unsheathed it and see something on the blade, rust spots on both the cutting edge and surface of the knife.This isn't just surface rust that can be wiped off either, because I tried.This is made from cheap, Chinese steel, a far cry from the quality that Cold Steel is supposed to be known for.Maybe I got a defective one, so I'm going to give it another try and exchange it. If it happens again, I am going to return it and never look at Cold Steel again.Keep in mind this was to replace another neck knife that was from some no name company that didn't even put marking on their knife. I used that one for 6 years without issue, but wanted to upgrade.
