Champion 2 Pack Pool Shock 12.5 Liquid Chlorine, Fast Sanitizer, 1 Gallon

I’ve been the sole caretaker of our pool since we installed it 20 years ago. I usually buy my chemicals at the local pool store but this is a great product and the price is right. Used it to shock my pool after a few days of heavy rain and very happy with the result.

It's high(er) concentrated chlorine meant as a liquid shock for your swimming pool and it works great! Make sure you educate yourself a bit on pool water chemistry or else it may lead you to think pool chemicals should be working miracles.As for this product: It arrived in a very stout cardboard box and inside were the 4 jugs of chlorine inside of a thick plastic bag, which is great in case any of the product were to leak during transit, however, I had no leakage from the bottles. I did, however, deduct one star from the "Easy to use" category rated simply because the "easy pull tab" under the cap just rips off and doesn't take the bottle seal with it. As far as functionality goes, it worked great for me to clear up the pool after I opened it from winterization. I'll probably drop a gallon (or two) in before I throw the cover on at the end of this season.

Used these in X-Jet chemical sprayer for house cleaning.Item worked as expected but cost needs to come down. It’s a common bulk commodity sold by dozens of suppliers.Items were inside a plastic bag inside a box. No leakage and box wasn’t damaged. Arrived as expected.

The way this chlorine is package is above and beyond. Time was taken to secure the bottles in plastic in case of spillage. That means a lot to me. It is concentrated so you use less, that’s a plus, and it keeps my pool water clean and safe, another plus. I would recommend this product to anyone w a pool!

Pool shock works great in the pool. It's liquid so no powder to dissolve, so that's nice. It controls the chlorine level, easy to use. The pool looks fantastic.The problem is how it's shipped. I bought 2 bottles, 1 was leaking. Both bottles are wet, you don't know which one is leaking. Pack them separate, plus add some bubble wrap! Plus when you open up your box you really don't plan on getting chlorine all over you!!!!!!

Maybe it was old. Maybe improperly manufactured. Opened the jugs and barely smelled chlorine. Put i in and nothing did not raise the PH. The next day testes water and put in the other gallon. Nope nothing never raised the PH. Going back to the granules that work.
