Impressive Controls (or LV) Cabinet
This is a strong heavy steel cabinet with a very nice powder coat finish to it that is a very durable finish. I expect this unit to pretty much never have a corrosion problem associated to it due to the finish on it. The main features beyond the corrosion resistant finish are the unit has a thick or possibly rubber-based silicone door seal for watertight closure with a Telco style non-general low-voltage style lock on it that is also durable with a seal closure on it. The main point of presence on this unit is the bottom on the cabinet with a quality seal on this as well. With all entrance being on the bottom this should minimize all possibility of water entering the cabinet via run off on the cabling as long as best practices are adhered to. This meaning the use of proper service looping or drip loops before entering the cabinet to prevent slow runoff idling and building its way up the cable. The door to cabinet has a positive bonded ground to prevent any accidents due to poor bonding or shorted equipment inside causing any issues with the end user opening the cabinet to investigate. Thus, maintaining the shortest path to ground but implies proper installation at time of install of all devices to ground as would be required to ensure this is protection is there. This would be an end user fault if it is not. It should also be pointed out the cabinet has a removable back plate / tray for mounting all your devices, rails, or shelves to it. This cabinet does have included rear proposed mounting slots for the mounting hardware. Overall, this is a very good cabinet for a versatile number of reasons and is one that would gladly recommend for the use of others for any installation. This unit would be great for din mounted controllers, dis tributed power supplies in a small home shop setting or many other uses like telecom termination or optical termination especially for the use of armored fiber as the bonding between can happen within the enclosure. It is defiantly a cabinet to be recommended to others for many practical uses.

Solid Waterproof Enclosure
I ordered this for a small project with an Industrial PC. I was expecting to receive something less than sturdy but was surprised at how solidly built it is. It has a bit of weight to it, but as soon as you open it you see why. The enclosure, when fully assembled, appears to be completely waterproof. The gaskets around the door are thick enough to keep water out. The bottom cutout has a nice thick gasket as well. I'm not concerned at all about leaving this outside for the project its' for.The two notes I have:1. The interior is slightly smaller than I expected. It still works, but I was expecting a little bit more space. The mounting plate inside is nice to allow you to properly secure what you're putting in there (in my case, the Industrial PC) and not worry about it moving or impacting the overall waterproofing. It's just a little bit tighter than I originally expected.2. The included door latch/lock is a fixed triangle key device. It would be nice to have the option of a non-standard key so that it would be less likely to be opened by anyone with a triangle key. I love how strong it is, I just would prefer having a separate keyway for it to allow it to be better secured.

Strong and Durable outdoor enclosure.
KWONONG Metal enclosure is a strong durable wall mounted box. This enclosure is 14"×10"×6" and is powder coated to protect it from the elements. I am using this box to house my outdoor Wi-Fi and video surveillance equipment. I was able to drill through the exterior plate and run conduit fittings into the box. The breakout panels were too large for my application but would be great if you were running heavy gauge wire into the box. I was able to mount the box with the bracket that came with the item. The eternal removable plate comes out and will let you mount equipment to it then attach it to the box.I changed out the lock to a postal box lock as they tend to be more secure and have a lot more key combination. I also used silicone around the holes I drilled to help keep the moisture out as here in Florida that tends to be the undoing of metal that is outdoors. Overall, this box should prove to be strong enough and secure enough to last for a few years.

Built like a tank!
I have been a lifelong electronics hobbyist and I have a degree and work in electronics as a profession. So needless to say, I live for electronics experimentation! What a great box for moving my electronics projects outdoors. It would also be great for an industrial environment with a lot of dirt, grease and oil around, too!I have been using this box for an SDR RF project using a raspberry pi and it’s been working out great.I could see this being useful in all kinds of applications where you need to mount your electronics projects outdoors while protecting them from the elements. This box is steel and built like a tank! Luckily, they include a removable bottom panel that is easy to machine and drill. The gasket around the lid helps seal out dust, bugs and water. I have it all mounted where it is in the shade so too much heat doesn’t build up, which would be a major concern with a non-ventilated box.Great outdoor enclosure at a great price point! I Highly recommended it!
