I was reluctant to try green tea with roasted rice, sounded like a weird combination. Then a friend gave me a box so I had no excuse not to try it. I love the taste now, but just as a warning it it a bit of an acquired taste. I highly recommend it,.

Great Taste

For years I drank the Ito En Traditional green tea with matcha, but it has lost its flavor in recent years, not sure if they are cutting back on the matcha powder or what. but it just tastes like green tea now, which I don't like. I tried this as an alternative after having the same style (matcha with toasted rice) once from Traditional Medicinals, and this is much better than the Ito En Traditional. Wonderful flavor. I am using up my Traditional ones by putting one bag of that and one bag of this in a large mug. After that, no more Traditional. I have tried other Genmaichas from Amazon but none taste good other than this one.

Doesn't have a good taste. I prefer other brands.
