Brilliant headboard, perfect size for my king size bed. Good quality, well made & padded. Great customer service as well. Easy to fit the wooden legs with the screws provided. 10/10

Initially thought this was great stopping the sewing machine pedal from moving when you are using it. Having had it for about two years, bearing in mind it is not used constantly. Firstly while the sewing machine pedal stays where you put it on the board in use, which is great, the non slip board moves on the carpet. My wife has resolved this by placing a heavy box behind the pad to stop it moving. Secondly the non slip surface is not as durable as it should be as one corner surface is completely worn away.To sum up it has its uses but could be better made to stop it slipping on the carpet floor, and the non slip surface should be made of a more durable material. Received a headboard today was right that tie stable Sydney you had a job to wrap it. I needed pliers to take the staples out. The main issue no holes for the screws to go in for fixing the headboard to the bed which is very unusual for suppliers of beds do not have these holes drilled ready for erected not a good product. I don’t think due to the fact all the stables are attached to this headboard and no fixings would not recommend, unless it is the dodgy one.

It looks good when in place. However, the delivery was delayed, we couldn't track the delivery with the courier, and we weren't informed of a definite delivery date. It arrived well packaged but after unwrapping we found damage right in the middle, along the top edge. Perhaps that happened in transit. After waiting longer than expected for the product to arrive & cutting through the wrapping we weren't inclined to find a way to rewrap & return it. Instead we drilled new holes for the struts, flipped the headboard upside down so the damage would not be seen. Put some gaffer tape over the tear to prevent it worsening. Not sure how robust the faux leather is. Time will tell.

Whilst the Headboard is well made and looks good I still think that all the fixings should be provided but they say not bot last Headboard I bought had , I had to go and buy the fixings separately, not good in my opinion

The product is less than half the price of the nearest competition. It's cheap. But what did you expect? Great care was taken to ensure mine arrived without damage, it was wrapped two times in very tough plastic. The edges covered in thick cardboard, the corners protected by swatches of the leatherette material. A lot of care was taken, arguably more care than went into making the product but it is still acceptable. The leatherette on mine was tight, the pleats were right, it looks ok. For the price of four good bottles of wine you can't complain. Assembly was easy but the screw heads are a bit small, if they included two 2p washers it would have been much better (I supplied my own). This is not a piece of furniture you'll hand down to your children. Will it last a year or two? I'll post back and let you all know.

For starters, it arrived very quickly. I ordered it on the Thursday, and it arrived on Saturday morning.Packaging. Mine came in a cardboard box, inside that, the headboard was wrapped in a large polythene bag and there was also some bit of cardboard tacked onto the corners for extra protection. The bag and the corners are stapled on, so you have to be a bit careful removing these or it leaves sharp bits at the back.Internally, the headboard seems to be made of a single piece of wood, I'm guessing this is chipboard and it appears to be about 12mm thick. The covering and padding are mounted to this and then stapled to the back. There is also a black liner on the back, you can't see the wood.It came with couple of struts to mount it to the bed, and also some screws, which I think might be for the bed too. It looked as if the struts needed to fastened with wood screws to the back of the headboard, there's a couple of places marked for this. I didn't use these so didn't investigate further. I made four brackets from metal so that I could fasten the board directly to the wall behind the bed.The headboard looks nice, I put it just above the mattress so that I get the full benefit of it's depth. It's very comfortable to lean against and Mrs Slog was pleased with it, so that was the main thing.
