This camera set up on my car for a month if any small jerk because of the pothole or any other things on the road, it’s record, but when I get involved in Accident, it’s record nothing

Works good, I wish there was some kind of indication to tell me if it was recording sound or not without having to login with my phone. I love the parking mode.

Very expensive, too difficult to use, finicky, annoying, software isn't well thought out, connectivity isn't well thought out. video quality? Whatever it is, it's far from 4K. After a year of messing with settings I still can barely read a license plate when someone is right in front of me. Getting footage from the app is almost entirely useless. Count on always ejecting the SD card and putting it in an adapter and plugging it into a laptop.That being said, the majority of dash cams are just as crappy. The saving Grace for this one, is that it unlike the other expensive counterparts I tried such as the nexar one, the thinkware hasn't overheated in the two hot Vegas Summers I have had it, and the parking detection with radar is better than any other dash cam I have had. It also accepts and actually requires an external SD card which allows you to extract media your own way vs others with a non upgradeable internal storage (nexar one again)

Did a lot of research and decided to buy this for the below reasons: made in Korea, brand reliability, cloud connectivity, low power consumption on parking mode.Set up was just ok.. wished it was a bit smaller in size and had the cpl filter preinstalled as it’s tricky to align it correctly to camera lens. Bought this as bundle with rear cam. The cable for that is really thick and it was extremely difficult to conceal it into the trim.Now 4 weeks since installed, I find it not useful as compared to a cheaper dash cam I had before. Main challenge, it never gives any notification on the events in parking mode when I get into my car. My car has internet hotspot and dashcam says “connected to internet” but still I need to manually connect phone to dash cam to see the parking recording.The cheaper dashcam had a screen and it used to show any alert from parking mode, when I get into the car. I know a continuous internet connection required for real time notification during parking, but I expect the dash cam to alert for any events as soon I get back into the car.Having spent over $500 for the bundle, I expected this dashcam to let me know any alert while parking, it is the basic feature of any dashcam. Frustrated and reached out to support team - and the steps provided are to reset the dashcam and format the memory card! Seriously? !!

This product is by far one of the best out there my only thing is you can't connect to your car when your not near it. Like if I'm in my house I can not connect to the video but once I get in or close enough to Bluetooth distance I can connect and get a live view or whatever. It would be five stars everything else works fine the motion detection and the impact recording all great 👍🏽.

I should have listened to the negative commentary. The APP (two APPS) are something a newbie would write. You cannot register this dashcam with the included barcode. It provides a comeback with an "incorrect number." Wasted money and time. Please move one until Thinkware updates its APPS.

Great for protecting yourself on a roadtrip if an accident occurs. The only reason I have it 4/5 stars is that i wish it would be better at recording cool things i drive through/by. It automatically records when a large bump occurs, so either a pothole or a speed bump, etc. When it records, it does 30 seconds before the "bump" and 30 seconds after. So only one minute total, but that should be perfect for an accident.
