Solid plates. I would put a good anti rust primer/paint before use.

Be sure to paint with a rust protector if this is mounted in the weather. I got these to mount on my aluminum trailer so I could mount magnetic lights. It works well with the rust but coated with a rust inhabitant would keep it looking nice.

These steel plates are heavy-duty and durable. I used them to reinforce a wooden structure in my basement, and they provided excellent support. The pre-drilled holes made installation easy, and the steel is thick enough to handle heavy loads. Great value for the price!

They matched the description, they were real metal, I didn't end up using them though.
