Good Quality and Look Good
By making very careful window measurements I got a very good fitting unit. It was easy to install and works perfectly. I only use the remote control, not the phone app options, so I can't comment on those features. It's still very new so too soon to evaluate durability. If the motor ever fails it will be useless since there is no manual mechanical operation possible (as far as I can see). The motor operation is totally silent. The partial blocking cloth shade I chose is ideal and looks great. The remote is very simple to use. My window is about 70 inches square and this shade covers all or almost none of it over its full range of motion. It was rather pricey (final cost $340) but so far I am satisfied with the quality, looks and operation.

Absolutely fantastic
The media could not be loaded. This is an extremely well built shade. the fit for it was absolutely perfect and now everyone who see’s it is asking me where we got it. The motor is not loud and rolls the shade down nice and slowly. Install was easy and everything feels extremely sturdy. The shade material has a nice weave like texture which feels similar to these $1,000 ones at retail stores. I would recommend this product all day long.

Amazing product!
The media could not be loaded. If I could leave more than 5 stars for this product, I would. The quality is absolutely beautiful. They are affordable but look very high end. They were very easy to install. It only took a few minutes to install each one. I love how they’re easy to charge- I don’t have to take them down to recharge them. Battery life is also great. I’ve had them for a few months and only had to recharge one time.Additionally, their customer service was amazing. UPS lost my package so customer service responded to me right away and got everything sorted out ASAP. I’m very pleased with this product and would highly recommend!

LOVE IT
I ordered the SmartWings Motorized smart blinds and was hopeful since I had never ordered a motorized blind before. We are building a new home with a tall window in the stairway I did not want to spend my life raising and closing blinds by hand. Let me just say that I was not disappointed!! I measured the smart blinds myself and placed a custom order and they fitted perfectly! SmartWings had sooo many custom options I was surprised. Do keep in mind that certain custom options will cost more of course but it depends on your needs and wants. I was very satisfied with the overall price I paid for the smart blinds. The blinds arrived on time and we charged the motor and voila! the blinds worked effortlessly the first time. Keep in mind that the motor will need to be charged (we have no power outlet in the stairway but we will use a power bank instead. There is also an option for solar power that we may consider later). Our builder installed the smart blinds and said they were easy to put up and had no issues. I have already ordered a custom smart blind for the large kitchen window, and I can't wait. I ordered only one remote and should be able to program the second smart blind to it so we shall see if we have any issues. The remote is easy to use and comes with a holder. Definitely consider the SmartWings smart blinds if you are looking for motorized blinds for your windows. With the variety of options and customizations, you can't lose!

Tips and tricks on measuring and ordering
Bought one before buying for 9 other windows with about 4 of those going to be huge (108” wide). The roller blind works fantastic with my Zwave controller and with the remote control. It never misses an open close signal. The ivory color on the 70% transparent is high quality. I placed order for my next 4 of 9 shades roller shades.I asked a lot of questions to their support team as I am a big home automation guy and wanted to make sure they would work with my Universal Devices Eisy controller. The Zwave is Zwave 700. A few tips from all that analysis:1. Order the fabric samples from Amazon for Blackout shades and semitransparent. These are two separate books of sample. There are differences from colors on your monitor. Its an expensive purchase so you want to get it right.2. Follow the measurement guide for inside and outside mount shades closely.3. WIDTH: For inside mount you give them the exact width of the inside of the window. They will reduce this by .2” to ensure you can get the cartridge in there. That works out to .1” gap on both sides for you non-math types 😉. For outside mount, this is personal preference but also this determines if someone can peek through the side of the blind or for blackout shades how much light comes in. You need the actual fabric to extend out far enough to the left and right side of the window so no one can peek in. For me, I measured the trim on the right and left hand side to start from the outside of the molding on the left to the outside of the molding on the right. Due to the shallowness of my windows, I need to add 7.2” of shade width to ensure you cant peek in from the sides from the outside and minimal light comes in. 1.2” of the 7.2” is to account for the shade fabric being shorter than the cartridge. This gave me an extra 3” on each side.4. Length: For outside mount, I mounted over the window trim. Keep this in mind when calculating the length you want. When in doubt, order longer length as it really doesn’t matter how long a roller shade is as you just wont unroll it all the way anyway. For me, I measured from the top of my top trim to the bottom of my bottom trim. I then added 4” to that measurement to account for the cartridge sitting above the trim and I wanted it to go to the bottom of the bottom trim. For an inside mount I also added 4” to actual length to have extra fabric on roll when fully extended.5. One thing to keep in mind about blind width. Whatever width you select, that will be the width of the cartridge for outside mount and for inside mount, your measurement -.2”. THIS IS KEY: the actual fabric will be ~1.2” shorter than the actual cartridge width. That equates to .6” on each side. For outside mount if you followed my guidance in tip 2 to add 7.2” to width above it should be a non-issue. For inside mount, it will depend on if you mount it so the fabric is close to window or at the front edge of window toward front trim. If you mount it so the fabric is close to the window it should be a non-issue. No one would be able peek in and minimal light comes in. If you mount it toward the front of the window toward the room, there will be a .6” gap from the side of the window that light can get in. Don’t recommend that type of mount.6. As to where to order from Amazon is cheapest. I ordered my first one on there. On their direct website, it depends on the sales they run. I ordered my next 4 on their site. The only other difference is on Amazon you get a 2 year warranty and on their site you get a 3 year warranty. There is also an option to get a fabric wrapped bottom bar on their website.Very happy with shades and support from company. Great price and they are very quick to respond.
