Useful nutrition tips focused more on habit building rather than just nutrients. As a Precision Nutrition certified coach I cannot recommend this book enough. It's practical and the writing style is easy to pick up and understand. Great stuff, want to read it again and soak it up. :)

Informed, sensible approach to diet and exercise
I don't normally write reviews, but I was very impressed by this book. I read a sample and read right through it and quickly bought the whole book. I really identified with a lot of what was said. I've tried a lot of different ways of losing weight and am moving towards developing a healthier lifestyle and reading this book has given me tools and inspiration to help me get there.

A good read on getting the basics of fat loss right
I am a trainer and coach and am always looking for a new angle to get better results for clients. This book didn't necessarily teach me anything new in terms of science or even methods, hence no fifth star. However, if you are looking for an entertaining one stop guide to getting in serious shape this will do it for you. The writing by Josh and Dan is entertaining and filled with anecdotes and stories and as a trainer I can tell you the fitness information is absolutely solid in itself. I fear this book will lose out to sexier titles promising more with snappier marketing but this really is the truth. If you want to lose those lbs you gotta eat well, keep a food journal and educate yourself about food a little bit whilst not getting sucked into the latest hype or bandwagon each month. Overall a good fun read and for someone looking for a place to start, this would be a winner.

A good book with lots of usable information that is easy to apply for all people involved.This is ideal for anyone who needs a 'plug and play program'.

Good sensible stuff !
If you can't get lean, strong and conditioned following these concepts then you did something wrong! Seriously stick to the plan and eat clean as you can and you will get where you want to be. Be patient with yourself and most of all have fun and enjoy it!

An easy read but nothing new here.
A good book. Provides a good system for diet and training but i wouldn't say it's groundbreaking.Well written and easy to consume, however not as entertaining as some of Dan John's other titles.

A really simple approach to fat loss - basically failing to plan is planning to fail! I have read so many books from Atkins to 5:2 fasting and this one is the first that really clicks with me. I now plan my meals for the week and stick to the plan which has really helped. Protein becomes the first thought then healthy fat and finally carbs. I track my calorie intake on fitnesspal app and between the two I am making it happen. Definitely worth a read!
