Good Value
Initial Review June 1, 2023You usually get what you pay for. For the price this is a pretty decent laptop. We have five computers in our house. One of them failed so we needed to replace it. But with so much computing power already in the family we didn't need to spend a lot on a new laptop that will be used only for school projects. No gaming or heavy graphics. This seemed to be a reasonably equipped Lenovo branded laptop for about $350. We didn't expect blazing performance, and don't need it. Given these conditions this turned out to be a pretty decent laptop. The only time I've felt the computer was slow was when opening an app. Instead of the blistering speed of my desktop this laptop takes about 3-5X longer to open an app. Pulling up an app on my desktop might take 2 seconds while this laptop takes more like 8 seconds. Once the app or web page is open I don't notice anything that seems to be slow. Most school tasks involve typing, drag and drop, perhaps photo editing. If you need to edit video you may want to buy a more powerful laptop. Not only is this a bit slow for editing but it doesn't have a powerful GPU.They didn't spend much design time on keeping the laptop light weight. It's a bit on the heavy side but manageable.- 12GB of RAM is quite generous.- Sound through the built in speakers is surprisingly good.- 256GB of storage is enough for school work, more can be added using the SD card slot. Unfortunately the SD card slot isn't deep so 1/2 of the SD card sticks out.- The screen is not a touchscreen.- The screen is clear and sharp with good colors.- The screen is bright but may not work well outdoors with bright sunlight.- The keyboard is okay to type on but they decided to cram a number keypad beside the keyboard so the key spacing is a little tight. Many people appreciate having a number keypad but I never use one.- Having volume up/down and a brightness up/down keys are very handy.- The keyboard is not backlit.- Battery life is acceptble. A full charge lasted me about 4 hours while I used it to set up windows and other apps. I was on the computer continuously for all of those 4 hours.- The SD card reader is a bonus. I would not have expected that feature from a low cost computer.- It has a USB-C port which is great, but that port won't charge the laptop battery. That would have been a bonus feature but I think they left it out to keep the cost low. Charging has to be done through the AC power port.- I did use a bluetooth headset with the computer which worked fine.I recommend this laptop

I Should have Bought Two!
Purchased this unit for my church to update our computers. I should have purchased two of these as the price was around $188. The prices has gone up to $280 roughly now. I use the computer for church bookkeeping and money management including an occasional Excel spreadsheet. I have had zero issues with speed and calculating spreadsheets. No delays. No spinning buffering. The screen is beautiful and crisp for bookkeeping purposes. The computer comes standard with a numeric keypad built in. Very handy for accounting of course. My personal Lenovo Carbon doesn't have this and you'll miss the numeric keypad if you have worked with them in the past. Seems like plenty of memory and storage for my needs. Computer boots very quickly due to the SSD and other solid state memory. I'm hoping the price will come back down. $188 was a super bargain. Amazon?

Nice laptop for the price, but no warranty
I like this laptop so far, seems to work ok, not the fastest, but not super slow either. I have updated everything and am using Windows Defender AV. I don't think putting McAfee on this would be a good idea. I'm hoping it can handle Roblox and Minecraft without issue. So far, it looks to work just fine for that. One big surprise: I bought this thinking it was new. Nowhere does it say refurbished. But, the warranty info is elusive and it's a third party seller. When I got the PC setup and checked the Lenovo Advantage website, it said I was out of warranty and could extend it for a price. So, is it used? Grey market? Who knows. Glad I bought the Asurion extra insurance for it since there is no manufacturer warranty.Good luck out there.

Speedy little thing
This thing is a speed demon comparing to my last laptop! It is very slim but durable. The keyboard doesn’t skip or stick. The screen is crisp and bright and the battery truly shocked me. Working with my laptop running multiple tabs for projects or homework, I don’t have to plug it in for at LEAST 6 hours. Without heavy use, lath is laptop has lasted me a few days without needing plugged in! It is loud enough I can hear it over my kiddos but I use it mostly for paperwork or research so the speaker wasn’t my main selling point.. Just a nice bonus! Overall, a great value for the money!

Beware
It came with a purchase date of last year, but purchase it June 23,2023 had to send proof that I purchased it in order to get the expiration date correct so I can have a full yr warranty. When installing the wireless printer I have it said no driver found, I couldn't get the driver to install, had to purchase a driver for 9.99 and down load it to install I decided after that it was a bit much, no I was unable to remove my personal info no matter who I spoke to they couldn't get it to clear, no they want to charge me a hundred and something dollars for them to clear even though I have a one yr warranty and I also purchased an additional two yrs, I'll never purchase another lovono laptop again, I'll never deal with that company again.

Simple and easy!
I liked how easy it was to set up. I just hooked up my phone and Google email. It brought everything over to the computer. Tablet, phone, computer all work together and in tandem!

Good, inexpensive laptop
Light, reasonably fast Windows 11 laptop, with a good screen and a decent amount of RAM and SSD drive space. Not for hardcore gamers because it doesn't have the speed or memory capacity, but good for the occasional PC user.
