Very cool lights for my fence. You have a choice of flickering lights like a tiki torch or just simple lights. Love the tiki look! Very easy to install. Great price too.

The illumination is perfect ... i.e., ambiance. Subtle, and definitely gives the impression of a gaslight. After a day of "normal" amounts of sun, lasts for approximately 6 hours past dark. They're installed on fence posts that are waterfront. One was not securely fastened (my fault) and ended up in the water. Fished it out, removed the batteries and let it dry. Reinstalled it (securely this time) and it works perfectly. Have ordered another 2 pack. Definitely recommend ... NOT for lighting up a space, but for the ambiance.

These mounted easily to my 4x4 posts and adapters were sent/available for larger posts. Not sure how long these will last - time will tell.

They work great turn nice and bright and they look good on a white bench thinking about buying another 18 put on the rest of the fence good deal for the price

I love the look of a flame with out the danger of a flame. They stay lit late into the night. They are perfect brightness

Update: I cannot explain it, but they started working beautifully after being on the fence post for a few months. I did not change the batteries. They turn on at dusk and stay on for many hours. I'm enjoying the flickering lights and have had many compliments from friends. I wanted to update this post since they are performing as advertised.Original post: Purchased two black post caps and the first night they looked amazing and flickered for many hours. The second day they lit up, but only for a few hours. Third day nothing. No longer work. They are screwed into my 4x4 posts and I will leave them there, but such a shame they did not last longer.

Although the description does indicate that they work with 6x6 (posts have actual size of 5.5” which they do fit). My posts have a vinyl sleeve which have actual size of 6x6 and the caps do not fit - if only they had that final adapter. They look great but have to return because size does matter.

The media could not be loaded.  I've been searching for a while and even returned a few items that just didn't look that great in person. The flame on these looks amazing. I have "4 x 4's" which are technically 3.5 x 3.5 so we don't need the bases. I'm really happy with them. Try to get them on sale. I suspect they will not last forever since they are just cheap plastic but we'll see. We have the wooden posts that don't extend above the fence line but it still looks nice. They don't not last the entire night so be mindful of that. Use a level when installing. I wish they were a little brighter. Just enough for a nice ambience. They really only light up the top of the fence. It's good because they probably won't attract as many bugs but they definitely don't light up the backyard.

My flicker flame fence lights lit the very first day they were installed. Some nights they don't stay on too late, because, well, not much sun on some winter days! Not very bright, but I love them. Maybe I could supplement with a few electric ones.

These lamp posts are exactly what I was looking for. They look very nice and give a bright light at night on our deck. The only thing to watch our for is the screws are cheaply made and many got stripped just by screwing them in the posts.

Bought these to fit over 4" decking posts as advertised saying they would easily, sadly they do not so a little disappointed

The lights add a special decor to my deck. I love the flame glowing in the dark. My only reservation is they loose power after 4hrs.
