Expensive but worth it. Son loves it.

I am an origami beginner myself and I'll be using this primarily to learn. These papers are quite easy to fold, although I have had easier ones in the past. Overall, the quality doesn't seem brilliant as a beginner, but it's good enough to practice with. The size is good and the price is cheap compared to other papers available when I bought them.Some papers have a white reverse (which is what I was hoping for and expecting to introduce some contrast), but about a quarter of them don't. I'm not sure if this is normal, but as some origami patterns, like the crane, only have one side visible when complete, I'll just use those sheets for things like that.

So I know they're called origami and they're meant for folding and making cool little Japanese folded shapes. And I'm sure they're gonna do a great job with you choose to do that, but that's not why I bought them so this is a bit of an odd review. I bought these for video accessories and backdrops. I'm running a youtube channel and I need to do a lot of product shots and these papers work wonderfully as a backdrop or when you're doing a flatlay angle b-roll or something like that they're great. Very good vibrant colours and a lot of them. So i'm happy with my purchase, I wish they were abit bigger though.So great or origami and for other creative things :)

The paper is good quality, nice colours, although noticeably less vibrant than in the product pictures. The thickness varies slightly between sheets but all are quite thin and easy to fold. Most of the sheets are matt, some are glossy, theres also a mixture of single and double sided colour, though the majority is coloured on one side only, white on the other. In general the pack gives impression of several types of origami paper mixed together in a sort of a sample pack as the sheets vary so much in properties. They are very nice to work with, though I would like some more consistency in the thickness of the paper, it is really noticeable that they are not all the same. My biggest issue however, is that some of them are not perfect squares, there is about 2-3 mm difference in side length. This is not really a problem for basic forms but for more complex models that 2mm difference propagates throughout the model and becomes quite obvious. I don’t see anyone complaining about the same thing though, so I guess it is possible that I just got a bad batch.Updated after using up about 75% of the pack: removed one star as a lot of the sheets have a feel of what I would describe as a very old book page: the surface is rough and they tear very easily which makes them unsuitable for the purpose for which they were bought.

This contains papers of lots of colours as mentioned.Its a 2 pack of 50 papers. And the pack has 50 different colours.The colours are good enough and not annoying to me (this could vary for person to person).Papers are easy to fold and they do hold the fold well.Paper doesn't tear so easily.I am used to do with small sized papers so I felt these are larger to me. Check the size before buying or else everything is good.If you are looking to origami with same coloured papers this is not the oneEverytime you pick a paper from the pack its a different color. In the whole set you could get 2 sheets of same colour, one from each pack.

I am quite new to origami and got excited to buy this set for its many bright colours and paper thinness. So far I've made a few simple pliages and really enjoyed how easy it is to fold the sheets and play around with shapes. It's super flexible and the colours give a lovely result!The only thing that would make this set better would be to have the colour on both sides as sometimes the origami ends up with white surfaces due to reverse folds, but overall they are ideal for starting out with origami. I can only recommend them!
