Use on room temperature cheese.!
& beware units that bend the wire over the cutting board side (and\or a not-deep-enough slot) as you finish the slice; that will unravel or break almost any wire (I learned). I fixed my marble board with a hacksaw blade intended for brick; But if you cut down too far that slot bottom will become too thin and fragile.

Do the job
I needed new wires for my cheese slicer board. I think these may be the wrong size but I’m making them work. I’m not sure if I have them on the handle correctly but they’re working for now. I may have to figure out how to shorten them up a little.
