I bought this kettle two years ago and used it almost daily for the last two years. It works exceptionally well for loose leaf and herbal teas. Has different temperature controls from 175° to 212°. This is wonderful as it allows to brew at lower temperature and then allow to steep, to preserve taste and medicinal value of teas. It heats quickly and reliably and doesn’t take too much counter space. A great kettle.

This kettle is excellent quality! Beautiful (I got the navy blue). It has choices for different temperatures depending on the tea you are brewing. Heats extremely quickly. I have enjoyed mine and given as a gift on two occasions. I would purchase this again!

Pros: nice to look at, well built, heats up quickly, infuses well (I put loose tea in a bag before putting into the infuser so it’s easier to clean up), temperature control is niceCons: the volume of the beeping. And the beeping for everything (buttons, removing the kettle, turning it on, turning itself off). Biggest con for me is when it’s done reaching the set temperature it turns itself off. You have then go and set it to maintain a certain temp for 30 minutes. (It does beep to tell you it’s off). It’d be much better if it defaulted to staying hot for 30 minutes after reaching your set temperature

UPDATE! I wrote this review the day we got it! But apparently I must have been distracted and it never got here! So we now have it for about a WEEK and we STILL LOVE IT! WELL worth it. Here's the review that never got sent! <duh>. >>>>>>We ordered it last night and it came this morning. I am VERY impressed with this tea pot! It was packed VERY well and it's PERFECT for us. I was all set to get this other set - but actually tired of 'plastic' things. This is definitely better quality than the other too. Stainless steel and glass. AND despite peoples complaints I find the tea nice and HOT as "I" like it too! Didn't cool off as fast as it would with the other machine. I'm truly in love with this machine - and YOU could also afford to give this as a gift for a loved one/or friend too! Ooohhh I do hope they come out with a piece to use for k-pods too - but I really don't care as I love it just as it is!!!!
