I had a couple of different dates in the house, from Costco to the local markets, but these were hands down my family's favorite.When it comes to dates, a few get too dry, and a few too juicy, but these were just right. If you eat dates often, you will know what I mean.Must try it, and it's a great sugar substitute as well. I need another box, and unfortunately they are out. Wait, I should just have said they are horrible and saved them for myself. Haha

I have been bought multiple orders of dates from AYA-Farms for over 2 years now. They were always good and fresh. Better than what I could get locally. That is not so with the shipment I received on Dec. 4, 2024. These dates are horrible. They are dry, discolored, grainy, and sugary. Much worse than what I could get locally. I sent messages to AYA Farms to give them a chance to rectify the problem and did not receive a reply.If I saw these dates in a store, I never would have bought them because of the way they look. I have always been concerned about companies dumping poor quality or returned items through Amazon because it is too difficult for customers to return items. That appears to be what is happening here. If you are reading this and thinking of taking a chance and ordering anyway, keep in mined YOU CANNOT RETURN THESE because it is a food item.My monthly subscription for "Fresh Organic Medjool - Fresh Supreme Quality - Cultivated By AYA-Farms" is being canceled and my rating of the product and company will reflect my displeasure, frustration, and lost money.

Comes with sticker that says CCOF certified Organic. Although it's a plain white printed sticker that I suppose anyone can print; the quality of these are great. From date farm in California which have stricter rules about labeling than most states. These Medjool Dates are big & semi-moist with the perfect internal dryness to remove pits easily. Arrived double shrink wrapped in a thick cardboard reusable box. I place box in 2 gallon zip lock bag after opening to retain freshness & moisture. Hope this helps!

It was nice and fresh

Let me start by saying I love dates. I have tried dates from many different places. Medjool are my favorite. Juicy, sweet, just taste great.I was very surprised that these tasted as good as they do, considering they are made in California USA. The first ones I picked were delicious and juicy. then I bit into one that was rubbery and not good at all. Most of them are good-perfect. The bad ones are inedible. And then there was one (so far) I bit into that initially tasted good but then went horribly bad. I looked at the date, opened it up and the inside was moldy. Blackish dark brown mold. I was so angry and about to get on site and return the whole box. But after thinking on it, if I had bought a bag of grapes, berries, or even apples, from the store, some would be great, some not so good and some would be rotten. Again this was only one out of the many great tasting one.So now I split the dates in half before I eat them, not hard since they are so soft.I am giving it a 4 because though there were some that were not great and the nasty surprise one, I think these are worth trying out. I'll leave it up to others to decide. I don't think it's the product or company, but most likely the way they are stored by Amazon. They should be refrigerated or frozen until ready to ship.btw I also told my husband if I get sick it's b/c of the moldy date.Update: I did not get sick and I reordered more b/c, besides the bad one (as with all fruits, veggies & nuts), these are amazing.

These Dates are great!! Honestly, the best dates I have tried so far. They are not dry, and much larger than other Medjool Dates I have had. Highly recommend!

I used to get from this company thru Amazon. The quality has changed. I found a piece has black mold. I do not know the rest. I have plenty to go through because ordered a 4 lb box. The fruit is not as sticky as before. The end product is dry. I noticed that the product is farmed in California. I used to receive Middle East products from the same company.

The media could not be loaded. Received package like this and was like. (This was my 2nd box from them) I can’t return but I will try a few. A few were fine until I ate one last night and of course I ate the end to get the seed out but something didn’t taste right so I opened up the date and Black mold all inside. I did ask my daughter and her boyfriend along with my husband to verify that is what I was seeing and they all agreed. I have never seen this before but just very upset about it and do not feel that great-Very nauseated (hour later-and could be just in my head because of the mold)so we are throwing the entire box and I will never eat another date again. Waste of money and not feeling that good.
