Great Quality Inhaler Chamber
Great for my cat, easy to clean and us, very sturdy product to ensure the cat gets all of the inhaler, easy assembly and comes with 2 different sizes of mask to meet your pets needs depending on their size

Great product
Our vet recommended a child's sized chamber which was only £23. But it was far too big for my small cat and she wasn't breathing into it. We decided to try this aerokat because it is specially designed for cats and it works so much better. The smallest sized mask works well for her and we can now tell on the more sensitive indicator that she holds her breath for a little while at first. Does the job great and is less stressful for the cat. It comes apart well for washing too.

Expensive but worth it
I bought a cheaper chamber a while back which advertised a similar mechanism with that valve/flap to show when your pet is breathing in as well as to stop exhalation going back in to the chamber. It was awful. The rubber flaps didn't move at all and thus wasn't getting his medicine. I removed the flaps so the medicine would float in the chamber while he breathed, but little did I know the little bugger wasn't breathing for the first few seconds but of course, because I removed the God-awful valve, I didn't know. Cat started wheezing the other day and I thought a few things and getting a new chamber was one of them, because he obviously wasn't getting the correct dose. I have to thank endlessly one user who posted a video of them adminstering their cats inhaler, as I could very clearly see the Aerokat valve working and instantly purchased this. The Aerokat chamber has taught me that my little man tends to hold his breath or breathe shallow for the first few seconds, and then starts breathing normally because the valve indicator actually moves. The mask is made of very soft silicone (I assume it's silicone) and makes a good seal. While expsensive, I'm super happy I bought it. Recommended.

Good product - very simple to use
All good so far, my cat thinks I'm a bit odd when I use this ('what on earth are you doing' look!) but she has accepted it after only a few days (a treat before and after helps.) The little flap that moves to show you the breaths is excellent. As far as the device is concerned, I'm very pleased with it and although it's early days, I haven't heard her cough recently so fingers crossed! You get 2 different size face masks which is a good idea. When you get to times like this it really pays back the dividends on all the hands on interaction I've had with her from kittenhood - lots of cuddles, checking her paws, eyes, nose etc so she's used to being handled (and prodded) from a young age. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is I feel that - like most medication for pets - it's very overpriced for what it is. If this was an optional purchase there is no way I would have paid as much but obviously it's become an essential piece of kit now. I'm hoping the money goes back to research for more petmeds.

Worth the extra money!
Didn't know if my cat would take to an inhaler so brought a cheap one to train. Put licky links in nose piece & he got used to it. Then had to actually use spray but went straight through & he pulled away, also didn't know if he was actually inhaling any of it. Decided to take the risk of spending the money on Aerokat as vet had recommended. Should have got this first. He puts his face in to get his treat & then I spray. He does not pull away like before & I can now see exactly how many breaths he is taking in. Definitely worth spending the extra to get this.

Works well
Decided to order despite the 6 months waiting time it said. It arrived in a couple of weeks! Cat still hates it but it works and gets the medication into his lungs.

Lifesaver
This is a truly remarkable product.i ordered it way back in April,i was very apprehensive about using it,so i watched youtube tutorials and learned as much as i could about the product.i started off playing with my cat ,we played with the mask for about six weeks rubbing it on her fur ,then putting treats in it.just getting her used to the feel of the mask on her face.then the big day came, the day to use an inhaler.i was so nervous, that she might refuse it.i put the radio on ,to make it a bit noisy so she wouldnt hear the click of the inhaler.pleased to say the six weeks training has paid off..i have a good routine going now,set up the inhaler shake it attach to aerokat, rub mask on kittys fur to make it smell of her,set her on my knee ,rubbing her chest while she inhales sometimes 14 puffs of flixotide.afterwards big fuss ,wash her face, give her treats and some milk.no more coughing or gasping for breath job done aerokat .thank yous so much for inventing such a wonderful device☺☺

My cat is satisfied
Even though the price may seem a little high it is well worth it. The hassle that you avoid administering inhaler meds to the cat by using this product is priceless. My cat has been having acute asthma attacks for the past 2 month. She was on 1 pill a day of prednisone for 4 days and then half a pill, however, I had to use Albuterol to calm her attacks, but without this mask it was a real mess and I could tell she wasn't getting enough of it because we were just kind spraying it in her face and the effect didn't last long enough. After receiving Aerokat 4 days ago, I was able to give my cat 10 breath of Flovent right away without any problems. On the first day her reaction to Flovent wasn't very positive as she began having her attacks as soon as I would give it to her so that I had to also use Albuterol, however, the next day she was doing much better and so for 3 days now she has only been getting Flovent without prednisone and Albuterol and so far she is doing great. What a saver! She seems a bit down as far as energy goes and a bit crabby as far as mood, but I hope after some time she'll get back to normal. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a cat with asthma. One has to remember that cats on Flovent might not take strong enough breaths to move the Flow-Vu so you'll have to count without relying on it.

One of my cats was recently diagnosed with asthma, and he's also the type that doesn't like being told what to do and when, which results in him choosing to hold his breath instead of inhaling and getting that sweet sweet anti-wheeze medicine. The aerokat is expensive, but let me tell you, it fitting his face AND having the little indicator that tells me if he's inhaled has made it a game changer. He can no longer fool me into thinking he's breathing, I cannot be deceived! And for that, his asthma is much better controlled. Worth the money for the indicator alone.

My cat has just been diagnosed with asthma, so I ordered this device to deliver the medication. It is SO easy to use, very clean instructions, and works like a charm after getting your cat used to it. Right now, it is a lifesaver in many ways. Very good product which I highly recommend.
