Exactly perfect in every way!
I originally purchased four of these in navy about a year ago for my mother-in-law who has Alzheimer's Disease. I place three on the couch where she sits all day and they have held up really well. They still look like new. The color has not faded. She is heavy and she leaks and spills her food. These have kept their shape and liquids do not leak through. They have held up well with constant washing. I wash in cold water and air dry. I also use one for her seat in the car. They stay in place and have not faded even after almost a year of daily use and sun exposure. I'm ordering another one today for the drivers side as these are really helpful on a hot day and I'm always stealing hers! They don't look like a geriatric / medical / sick room product so you aren't embarrassed when someone sees them in use. I'm very happy with this product. I just recommend it to my daughter to use on her office chair at work. Many wonderful applications.

Good but has the same issues all these pads have
the tl&dr here is: the waterproof-ness of all these pads only lasts for a while so you eventually end up replacing them typically after a few months to around half a year if you're washing/drying them frequently. This isn't due to a design defect or because the pad construction is poor. Its because the waterproof layer doesn't hold up well to washing or drying. In particular drying!! Happens to all the pads no matter which one you buy.The way I've found to make them hold up is to wash them with cold water only in the washer and let them air dry on a line or hanging up in the shower. Don't put them in the dryer!! I've been able to get them to stay waterproof for nearly a year doing that. I've heard some say that they only hand wash them in the tub with cold water with dish soap and air dry them on a clothes line which can make them last upwards of a year but haven't seen it work yet myself.Personally I'm a bit lazy to go and do it really but its worth a shot if you want to get the most out of it.The pad itself is fine and looks ok. Stitching has held up well so far after nearly a month of use and it does grip the seat reasonably well so it doesn't bunch up too much. I only have to readjust it every week or so. None of the edges are curling up like others that I've seen which is nice.Comfort-wise its a thin pad, maybe 1/4 inch thick, so it really doesn't offer much cushioning nor does it much effect the cushion of the chair you're sitting in. Which is fine if you're like me and don't need more padding. Size-wise they're perfect for recliners or other large-ish chairs. On smaller chairs they'll overhang way to much and there isn't any ties or anything to take up the extra fabric so it'll look silly.

Perfect protection
I have a new wheelchair with a cloth cushion. I bought 2 of these pads and use them when transferring from pool or shower to wheelchair. It avoids water soaking into the wheelchair. It has also been a great help during a couple of kitchen accidents where I dropped something liquid on my lap. Washes easily, I let air dry rather than put in dryer. If these ever wear out, I will definitely buy again.

I am very happy with these waterproof seat covers
I am very happy with these waterproof seat covers. They have both qualities of function and form as the comfort level is acceptable and the colors blend in perfect with whatever chair you choose. My purpose was for a gray/blue chair that my mom has been sitting in for many years. She is currently 86 years old and surprisingly commented on how nice the blue color was and had no objection to sitting on the seat protector. I would recommend this product to a friend.

Did not absorb fluids!
I bought these to use in a potty tray for my small dog. I have used seat protectors in the past because they are often thicker than dog potty pads and the sizing works better for me. I purchased four and immediately put them to use. Every time my dog used one of these, the urine did not absorb into the fabric AT ALL. It just sits on top of the pad in a puddle. When I go to pick it up for laundering, I have to be very careful to contain the puddle inside the pad or it will spill onto the floor. I thought that maybe there was some kind of chemical on the pad that would come off when laundered, but this problem continued despite multiple trips through the washer & dryer. I never use bleach or fabric softener on pads made to absorb and hold liquids. I found this product extremely frustrating! Pictures show the entire pad with urine sitting on it and a closeup of the same.

Fantastic waterproof chair saver
I gave this product five stars because it lives up to its description. This seat protector is totally water proof and a good size; it covers the entire cushion. The care is very simple...it washes up beautifully and then goes right into the dryer. After several wash and dry cycles it still looks new. This seat protector will last a long time and is a good price. Since it is so light weight and portable you really only need to purchase one.

Won't hold up to 300 washes!
I have purchased several of these in different colors. They do not hold up to 300 washes! I wash them once a week as I have enough to change the pad every day, but the tops have been showing wear and have not even had 52 washes yet. I don't believe these will last 6 years if washed once per week. Once that top layer begins to wear down it's uncomfortable and I can no longer sit on it. I've thrown at least 4 of them away. Somewhere I saw they had a guarantee but I can't remember where I saw it.
