Sumpple are the best
Sumpple are the ones to go for fab camera for the money ,I had a bit of a problem updating camera we think was due to a bad connection with BT contacted sumpple & got a reply next day they tried to fix problem but camera lost its ip address so it had to be sent back ,I had a new camera sent direct from China within a week. I've got to say the support that you get is fantastic if you have any problems with any of their products email Jenny in Customer Service & you will find her very helpful & very keen to help you resolve any issues you may have So all in all I would not hesitate to recommend this company for Quality & Service .PS if you need to contact Sumpple bear in mind the time difference from the UK they are 8+ in front of us .Iam going to give them 10/10 for the camera as you can change a lot of settings in it to suit the NVR you may have & also very good zoom worth every penny.

The picture is crisp the functions are faultless and trust me this is so easy to set up a child could do it
I purchased the Sumpple S610 around December 2015, this I did after weeks and weeks of researching what was out there in the market for an outdoor IP, PTZ camera in this category. It seemed every time I thought I had found the one I wanted after reading the reviews there was always some reason to put me off. However this all changed after I read the reviews on Amazon for the S610 and my mind was completely made up.The camera has now been running perfectly in wet and windy weather for over 3 months now. The picture is crisp the functions are faultless and trust me this is so easy to set up a child could do it. This came has a pleasant surprise having previously set up cameras in the past that have been far more complex this was a real relief. There may be better out there in the field if you look long enough but you will probably be paying 10 times this price to get it, I recommend a 64gb SD card internally has it will leave longer period of timefor the camera to record data before it writes over itself in the loop recording and like previously recommended use a wired connection. I used a Huacam passive adapters Power over Ethernet PoE Passive Adapter Injector + Splitter Kit Cable with 20 metre data cable going directly to my router to eradicate the need for a power supply near the camera without a problem Would I purchase another one if needed absolutely. I have included a couple of pictures from day and night showing the IR at night and quality picture the camera offers during the day.

Meets all my needs and just works
I've spent a while trawling the web & camera reviews before finally plumping for a Summple. I'm not disappointed, I made the right choice for my needs:* outside surveillance use* easy to set-up system which I can use remotely from my iPhone* push notifications & email alerts with images in the event of an alarm* no clouds/servers involved, no subscription fees - (with the s610, alerts get sent from your email account back to your account (or other accounts of your choosing)With the s610, there are a host of other options for integrating these cameras into an existing alarm system, so if you need information on that, then skip this review.PROS* Good build quality* Excellent support - I actually asked lots of questions before purchase and they were all answered and quickly: pre-sales service par excellence!* Good image quality with adjustable IR lighting at night* Lots and lots of flexibility - for example, you can choose 9 preset fields of view, and 3 fields within a zone for motion detection.* The iOS app has all you need and more to program & use the camera at a distance* Motion detection: in common with most cameras in this price bracket, Sumpple use image change detection to signal alerts: the S610 has by far the most comprehensive menu I've ever seen: you can focus on up to three user-defined areas if you don't want to motion-detect on the whole image, and the sensitivity can go right down to a one pixel change. Having said that, proximity infra-red detection is arguably a better method for outside use, especially at night, and I've asked Sumpple to consider building in even more flexibility by allowing sensitivity and motion field settings that can be set up differently depending on whether the camera is operating on normal optics during the day or nighttime IR.CONS* Installation - you need a big hole to feed the wires through: a 33mm drill just did the job, stuffing the wires through afterwards with a pencil. There is a cable clamp at the base of the unit which means that you have to mount the camera above the large hole that you've just gouged out of your wall; so for the second installation, I removed the cable clamp and fitted the camera over the ugly hole (see photos). I'm waiting for Sumpple to reassure me that there is something else within the body of the camera to hold the wires in place without this clamp, and that I'm not tugging on the soldered joints of a circuit board.* SD cards: the camera records everything onto an internal SD card (you can choose the size at purchase) which gets overwritten when full. The contents can be viewed via the app (both stills and video) but unless you use a Windows PC, there is no way to extract this information and save it elsewhere, short of taking a screenshot from the phone. But at least you can get three jpg files if you use the email alert function. If you want to get to the avi files, the only way is to physically remove the SD card from the camera, and it's housed somewhere deep inside the guts of the thing.I hope Sumpple can fix this in the future.* The App: fairly polished but has some annoying niggles, such as it's all too easy to reset the position settings by mistake, and for some reason the pan and tilt functions are on a different page to zoom. Given that the Sumpple team are so customer-minded, I'm sure these will be sorted in an update, which is why I rate this camera 5 stars.
