So cool!
I love this vibrato! Easy to install and a good price. It fit right on my factory stud holes, easy as it gets. I use it with a roller bridge, locking tuners, and it works amazing. Good tuning stability, feels well made, not cheap and flimsy. I highly recommend!

Tremelo for Les Paul or SG.
Easy to install, fits perfect on a Les Paul or SG. No instructions not even a web address to visit? So far so good with tuning and playability. Price was good. Just remove the the tail piece bar, where the strings go through. The vibrato doesn't seem to put a lot of pressure on the neck.

You WILL have to mod this unit to make it work properly
I bought this for use on a budget Grote 339 copy. I am pleased with it now, but getting it to function properly was a trying experience. I’ll start with the bad news first:SPRINGS. The unit arrives installed with a spring and includes a second, stiffer spring. When you receive this product, immediately disassemble it, install the stiffer spring, and throw the original one in the garbage. You’ll thank me later. I made the mistake of initially installing this system using the weaker spring, and even on a 24.75” Gibson scale guitar with 9-42 strings (i.e, very light string tension) the factory-installed unit’s action was way, way too mushy. When I swapped the stiffer spring in to replace the weaker one, the result was still comparatively mushy, but at least usable.RETAINING BLOCK. These units have a top-loading slot for every string, and a recessed area in the back that catches and secures the ball end of the string. Due to what looks to be a manufacturing defect, there were sharp edges in those recessed retaining areas that caused high B and E-strings to snap after only a few minutes of play. I ended up using a drill bit to grind off the burrs and a nail file to smooth out the inner surfaces of those areas. As a precaution, I gave all six slots the same treatment. I finally stopped snapping strings. On to the good news:INSTALLATION. Dropped in the preexisting post inserts in the guitar without much trouble. Installation required zero mods to the guitar itself to work.APPEARANCE. Unit looks good when installed. It essentially functions as a Bigsby but with a smaller, more elegant footprint.FEEL & SOUND. The unit feels very smooth in operation, once properly configured with the heavier spring, and the bar itself was fairly adjustable. It did not appear to affect sustain any more than a standard Bigsby would. All that said, it would be useful to keep in mind that this is a “vibrato” bar, not a “tremolo,” in the sense that it’s meant to give chords a lovely shimmer, not perform dive-bomb antics. On the guitar I currently use it on, I added locking tuners and a roller bridge to aid with tuning stability, but radical pitch dives still require a slight up-pull after use to bring everything back to pitch. With a clear factory defect (mentioned in numerous other reviews) and other misgivings, why have I still given it three stars? Because it was inexpensive, still does what I bought it to do, looks and sounds good installed (once you swap out the wimpy spring for the beefier one), and requires zero modifications to the guitar itself to function. But you will be modding this unit in order to get it to work right. Take that to the bank.Caveat emptor.Edit — FOUR MONTH FOLLOW-UP:I'm still leaving this as a three-star review due to the modifications I had to make in order for this product to work without snapping strings. That said, it is the smoothest whammy/trem/vibrato system I've ever used. I regularly A/B it with a licensed Bigsby-style vibrato, and this one, even with the stiffer spring, is much smoother. It's like BUTTAH.To be on the safe side, I only use Fender Bullet strings in it, as there is no exposed wire on the ball ends of Fender Bullets for this unit to wear on and cut. Very happy with it once I made all of these accommodations. If the manufacturer were to clean up the machining of the retaining block so standard guitar strings wouldn't prematurely snap, this could be a five-star product.Edit — EIGHT MONTH FOLLOW-UP:I have to give this thing one more star (now four of five). Yes, it required substantial modifications to work; yes, I had to commit to the switch from my usual Ernie Ball Super Slinkies to Fender Bullet-End strings to make sure there will be no further string breakage; and yes, Guyker should address this issue in future production runs if the company wants more five-star reviews. All that said, I cannot fully describe how beautifully smooth this thing operates now. I have logged hundreds of hours on this trem, and it feels absolutely wonderful. I am tempted to order another for a custom guitar I installed a Bigsby on over a decade ago. Smooth, musical, and responsive, it is now my favorite vibrato bar system by far.

Great Vibrato
Does the job and does it well. I have different vibratos on a few guitars and this was easiest to install and performs flawlessly. Bring out a tad more sustain and doesn’t affect tuning.

Great tremolo
Is very well made. Fit right on my Epiphone Les Paul with no surgery required. Essentially, this is a Bigsby type tremolo. It is not intended for aggressive use. It is intended for a warble tremolo effect. Exactly what Mr. Bigsby and Mr. Fender intended. I hear people complaining it does not dive bomb or do all these tricks. That is because it is not a Floyd Rose. If you use it like a Floyd- expect to tune it every song just like Hendrix did with his Strat. Or doing all kinds of set up tricks EVH did and still didn’t work- until he got his Floyd Rose he was plagued with tuning. Same with Randy Rhoads. So don’t trash the product when you really don’t know what you’re saying. Mr Fender and Mr. Bigsby had no idea of hard rock and heavy metal when they did tremolos. This trem has a very smooth operation. Completely adjustable. No adverse changes in tone. I did note that on a Les Paul- when you shorten the length of the bar, it interferes with your playing hand.I advise using a roller bridge. That helps a lot with tuning. There is a bundle option on here that offers both. The roller bridge is excellentJust like a Fender or Bigsby, you have to pay serious attention to breaking the strings in. Again- some people comment while not knowing what they are talking about. If you install strings and go to town on this thing- you’re going to be disappointed. If you get your EVH on- you’re going to be disappointed. The nut on your guitar needs to be lubricated and adjusted/filed so that no catching of the strings happens. If you have a standard bridge the saddles need lubed. You have to stretch the strings in like crazy. All of that is just the nature of the beast. Keep in mind locking tuners don’t really help- especially if your nut is Fffed up. They are locking tuners- not a Floyd Rose locking nut. They make string changes faster. That’s about it.
