SINGLE HAND DRIP FREE SIPPING HOWEVER SHAKEY THE RIDE!
This Byron Contigo No-Spill Flask really is the very best out there! It really does keep whatever liquid you have inside PIPING HOT or ICE COLD all day long! The Snapseal/Sip Mouth on this flask is a fantastic feature! You can easily open-sip & close it with the forefinger of the hand that you’re holding the flask in! Great for when you’re out & about. In a car, bus, train or plane. Its No-Spill feature really works no matter how bumpy n’ shacky the ride! With the Snapseal closed you can even turn the whole flask upside down, but not a single drop will drip out! Very reassuring even if you were to drop the flask on jolting transport ride!I brew my Coffee or Tea before I go out & pop it into the my clever flask zip top case,(also bought on Amazon!) which neatly hangs across my chest from my opposite shoulder! So with both hands free it’s so easy to lift the flask out of the shoulder case. Flip the Snapseal open. Have a good gulping sip. Flip the Snapseal closed again & safely drop it back into its shoulder case all with one hand! While you might be hanging on for dear life with your other hand, on the bumpy, shakey ride you’re on! Just try to drink from any other vessel whilst on a jolting ride, WITHOUT SPILLING A SINGLE DROP!I wouldn’t be without my full size 24oz Contigo Byron Thermal Flask! Because by making your own coffee with, for example, a Waitrose Essential Jar of Full Taste Blend Coffee, at a super saving price of £1.50! You save yourself an absolute fortune! Instead of having to go into a coffee shop & paying £3.00 Plus just for just 1x Large Cup of Coffee which doesn’t even taste as good as your favourite blend of a purchased jar of Decafienated or Cafienated Coffee! The 24oz Contigo Byron Flask takes only 2x teaspoons of your favourite coffee to make a full rich tasting coffee you like the best! And a full Jar of Waitrose Essential Coffee makes more full Contigo Byron flasks than you can count!!!

Large mug with great heat retention
This is a very good quality travel mug that holds around half of my filter coffee maker pot (6 cups), I usually preheat the mug with boiling water as my coffee maker makes hot but not boiling coffee. The one I received has a slight nick in the lid, but this doesn't affect the seal or the drinking hole and doesn't bother me. The 'Stormy Weather' colour is a dark blue and looks nicer than a couple of smaller ones of the same make that we have in black. I fill it in the morning to take to work and drink it throughout the morning with it staying hot until finished. There is a mechanism in the lid that you push up a piece at one side and it will open the hole at the other side to allow you to drink, the opening is small enough that I can leave it open on my desk and it still keeps the liquid inside hot, I just shut it for transporting it without risk of spilling. I have been using it for a few weeks now and have never had a problem with it leaking and you just need to turn the lid anti clockwise until it clicks into place then clockwise to tighten it. Very happy with this.

Superb hot and cold reusable cup
Superb product. But then again i absolutely love this Contigo brand and own several cups. I usually fill it up with something hot in the morning and refill it when i get to work. As long as the lid is properly dry it shouldn’t leak. But there are times when it has because i haven’t dried the lid. The lid is quite tight and once opened can be left open to drink. Holds a lot of liquid, which is good for me, as i drink so much throughout the day. It is a very tall cup, which means you will need a tall brush to get through it. If you’re making a hot liquid then it will leave stains. At the moment i am using vinegar and bicarbonate of soda which seems to work well ish. I haven’t tried any other products to clean it. I recommend cleaning after each use, so that stains do not build up, otherwise it is very hard to clean. Doing my bit for the environment. Contigo brands are my preferred choice, because the suction is so good that liquid can stay hot/cold for long periods of time. I’ve found if i place about 100’c in a bottle then it will stay hot past 4 hours.and more than that for cold drinks with ice.

Nothing beats a CONTIGO Mug!
Had a Contigo travel mug before (was a gift from a friend) must have lasted at least six years and used it almost daily. Then I've lost it somewhere.Tried to replace it with cheaper brands, bought several different ones but they weren't anywhere as near as the quality of a contigo. Either awkward to clean - top falling apart into bits - leaking - not keeping coffee warm for long - ect. This time I decided I pay a bit more and I'm glad I did.I didn't have the "snapp seal" version before but it's just as good, even easier to clean. My coffee stays hot, nothing leaks - PERFECT!

Tried and tested - great!
I filled this cup with hot water as a test. One first notices that compared to other travel mugs - this retains the heat inside the cup and the outside does not feel hot at all which is a good sign.5 hours later I went back and the water was still hot not steaming and piping hot as when it went in but definitely as hot as I would like my coffee to be and after 5 hours it will more than do the job as I just need my coffee to stay hot from 7.55am until around 10.30-11.00am.Also I can confirm that when you tip it upside down it does not leak. The instructions are a useful read, they recommend to let the liquid stand in the mug for about 2-3 minutes before screwing the lid on and they also recommend having the sip hole open while doing this. I must say I am very impressed. If I feel there is more to be said after a few weeks of using this, I will update this review. But I'm impressed!
