High School Biology: Comprehensive Content for Cell & Molecular Biology (High School STEM Series) Paperback – February 4, 2023

As a scientist my focus has always been the physical sciences such as physics and chemistry. I minimized the courses I took in the biological sciences by choice, yet this course was one I enjoyed. Cell and Molecular Biology encompasses the study of the structure and function of cells and their biological processes. This particular guide is not only comprehensive but very easy to follow and perfect as a guide for any course taken in cell and molecular biology from high school through undergraduate biology. It begins with cell theory in depth of every cell type and takes the student through all aspects of metabolism and function. It discusses the macromolecules such as DNA, RNA, lipids, etc. I was particularly impressed by the section on DNA from structure to transcription. It covers all necessary topics bringing understanding of what is considered one of the top five hardest majors in high school and college. I would highly recommend it for not only high school students but also those majoring in biology in college.
