Looks great so far!
UPDATEOne year later and I can confirm it still looks as good as it did a year ago. It still looks clean and white and most importantly is stuck fast. There has been quite a lot of condensation during the winter, but it just wipes clean and remains stuck. Really pleased!!!I needed this primarily for my living room window and balcony door. Even though it was a new build when I moved in years ago, because there was a large gap between the frame and the sill the sealant looked awful. Now after many years it looked dirty and was coming apart (see photos). I am a walking DIY disaster about to happen so I just left it looking messy. This product seemed easy to use according to the reviews so I was tempted to give it a go. The width of the caulk strip made it ideal for this job. The photos are a bit dark and maybe don't do it justice, but even so I think you should be able to see a real difference between before and after it was finished. When you look at it when you are actually in the room it looks superb, much better than caulking done by a proper decorator. I did it during a heatwave so it was much hotter than the 25 degrees they recommend on the pack. Hopefully, this should help it adhere better. It has only been up 2 days, but so far so good. I also did my bedroom window. Looks great too. One word of warning though. If you ever decide to go back to ordinary caulking, this stuff will leave a hell of a mess when it is removed. It will pull the paint away underneath as well. Not a problem if you are replacing it with new caulk strip, but you will have to repaint areas where the caulk strip was if not. I know this, because I removed a small side piece after a few hours because I hadn't got it straight.

Look Good initially But Eventual Adhesion Issues
Easy to install. Look good once in place. Did not adhere for more than a few months. After under a year they have come away and have been removed.

Excellent, Update at 15 months and all is good.
It was a very warm day in June when I fitted this. I still used a hair dryer to warm up, both the tiles and the strip a little. It stuck down immediately. I had used normal sealant twice before but due to the large gap on one side between the tiles and the shower tray, it kept coming loose and water would leak behind and then drip through to the ceiling downstairs! This was much easier to use and so far, has remained in place and no leaks at all. I’ll update again as the months go by. So far 6 months and no issues.Update: It's September 2019 and all is still good. No leaks. Over a year and it's lasted much longer than standard sealant ever did. Hopefully, it will continue to do its job.Update: November 2021 and it's still excellent. Shower gets used daily, so this definitely is worth installing.

Bad adhesion even with repeated 'hairdryer' technique
I bought this product to replace some sealant that had started to change colour, expecting an easy, no-nonsense alternative.I cleaned the surfaces and allowed them to dry for around 24 hours before running a hairdryer over them for good measure. Initial application was easy enough, and copious amounts of heat from the aforementioned hairdryer was applied, and the strip stuck well to begin with; however, several days later, it started to come loose, possibly due to the heat from the water coming from the shower. We dried the surfaces again and heated the loose areas liberally with the hairdryer and secured it for a second time. Again, a few days later, the strip came loose. We repeated this process several times until we decided to well and truly nuke the strip until it was burning hot to the touch and then hold it in place for as long as it took to cool. Guess what? It came loose within a few days.I contacted the seller who refunded it with no questions asked - it seems that even they don't have faith in the product.Between you and I, if you did want to try this sort of product, you can find it for about half the price at either B&M or Home Bargains.Overall though, I wouldn't advise it.

Does the job
Nothing worse than a persistent leak in the bathroom no matter how much silicone sealer you apply and over time looks terrible. I bought this and admit I was a bit apprehensive s some of the reviews were bad. What I did was remove all the previous sealer (yuk and a pain in the neck) cleaned it with a degreasing cleaner and left for a couple of hours to dry out completely. I used a hot air gun to heat around the bath where the tiles meet and then applied the tape a bit at a time. As I put the tape in place ran the heat gun over the tape not too close just enough to warm it up then pushed the tape firmly against both surfaces.Corners are a bit harder and I would recommend you measure to the first corner and see how it will wrap before you remove the backing to stick to the surface. You might need to do what I did on the fly as I didn't check this first. Where the crease in the tape is cut a slit from the middle to the bottom and when you hit the corner you can overlap them still seals properly. Apply heat as before and keep pressing firmly into both surfaces.End result is a clean and professional looking seal and most importantly no more leaks.

Looked good but wasn't
Thought this was such a good product but its useless. Used it between the floor and bath, heated it with a hairdryer as suggested and it doesn't stick. Everyday I have to push it back into place. Tried it on the skirting board and it keeps unsticking but has ripped off all the paint now I've removed it. Brought a 2nd roll when I first put it down but this is 100% being returned. Really disappointed as now I have to paint my skirting boards again and try and remove all the sticky bits left all over the floor, bath and skirting boards.Added a star because customer service is very good
