Purchased this as a birthday gift, for my 10 year old nephew.It arrived and I actually ended up having a read through before wrapping, it’s an excellent book.Really great illustrations and information on various aspects of the game, it also explains some of the various competitions very well and in a way that’s easy to understand.I asked my nephew if he’d enjoyed it and he said it was great, he loved learning about some of the historic goals and facts about football.It’s written in a way that’s engaging and the illustrations add an extra element of visuals, for what you’re reading about.Would definitely recommend, for anyone who’s of a capable reading level and wants to learn some interesting facts about football; or for if a parent wants to read to their child as I’m sure adults who love football would find it interesting too!
