Winter Warmth
Unfortunately it is becoming super cold outside and we recently have a neighborhood kitten just have babies 😐… I have no clue whose it is in our neighborhood unless it was a drop off. She has came up to me one time and hides out under my daughter’s broken down car… I would have gotten her that day but seen she was definitely breastfeeding, and she has to be a small kitten herself… So I’m hoping to get her comfortable to bring her kittens out so I could catch them all, or maybe her lead me to them soon. I put food there the first night and it was gone with only remnants remaining. I only hope it’s her, but in the country we have possums, raccoons, skunks, bears, and even a mountain lion that lives in our unused shed from time to time. So fingers crossed! Now onto the little cathouse itself… A lot of reviewers were talking about the Velcro so I was kind of hesitant, but you couldn’t beat it for the price and something fast that I needed until I could provide better. Some things I noticed (as seen in pics) no matter how I tried to redo the roof of the house with the Velcro, there was always small holes here or there because it wasn’t lining up perfectly (probably user error for all I know). Not a deal breaker for me at all. Once the Velcro is secure, it is definitely secure!! It’s pretty hard to pull apart, so that was a plus. I put a small towel in there, and went out the next morning (there was frost out still) and was surprised that it wasn’t wet, and when I stuck my hand inside, it was actually quite warm/cozy (assuming for a cat with fur). Regardless of the small holes that were left ontop, the roof overlaps over the house itself, as it is waterproof (as they say), so I don’t really see that being too much of an issue either. I did put the house ontop of a plastic liner that goes inside of a dog crate. The directions does state to place it ontop of something and not directly on the ground to ensure no moisture seeps in, etc. I didn’t use the 2 spikes they send with it to keep it from flying away. Instead, I just used 2 tires to put on the sides of it that way it will keep it stable as well. I put a puppy pad ontop (kinda silly I know) until I bought a new tarp to protect it a little more… I will be taking that off though because cats are very intelligent and she’s probably not using it due to something flappy she sees ontop. I doubt the tarp will even work but I’m hoping so I can try to provide the best home possible. The house is a little small (as seen in picture with a regular size dog retractable leash), but it’s a small kitty and I’m sure her kittens will also be nice and cozy if she would just bring them in there… If something were to jump onto of the house, it’s going to all cave in. There’s no cardboard or anything hard in it. It’s just feels like a thick foam from every angle… The house is super light, a toddler could toss it in the air and easily catch it… Absolutely no smell… Appearance wise, I didn’t care about looks. The more it blended in with the woods and nature (minus the puppy pad 🫣) that was my goal. The camo is a great desired look. It also was super easy to unfold and put together (minus lining the Velcro as stated above but again that is probably just user error). On the instructions page as well, they do have an additional product you can purchase (obviously sold separately) and it’s like a little heating pad floor that is used from their own body heat, regulating the mat. Just another additional option…The only thing I wished it did have, was another side exit because cats also don’t like to be enclosed but I knew purchasing it, it did not have this and again, it was a cheap, simple, and easy fix for the meantime… For now, it’s just a learning curve for me. I hope any of this will help someone whose looking and it the same boat I was!All in all, I was quite happy with the purchase. I’m hoping it will be durable to at least last during winter. I plan to purchase another soon or have my husband build one if I can talk him into it. His theory is if we don’t house or feed them, they will go away. 🤭… In reality, it just means we are about to have a whole colony of cats soon roaming around, if we can’t catch them. If it were up to me, I’d keep them all! Husbands, smh… 😅

It's a HIT
As soon as I got it I got it ready. Very easy to put together. Took it with me when I feed my cat. She checked it out while I was getting her food ready. As soon as she was done eating, she got right in it. Now that it's getting colder, she stays in it all the time. She's an outdoor cat, but sleeps in the garage. She doesn't have to deal with the wind much, unless the door is open, so it should hold in body heat and help keep her warm. She's kind of a small medium sized cat. If she was any bigger, she'd need a bigger house. It's supposed to be waterproof, so cleaning it should not be a problem. It has soft sides and roof, so it's not real sturdy. It's a nice looking little house. Not an eyesore.Definitely worth the money. I'd buy it again.

Good for the price but not very sturdy
I bought this for a feral "barn" kitten I adopted to keep inside his crate during the 3-5 week acclimation process. It fits perfectly in the large dog crate I bought and seems to keep the kitten warm along with a self heating mat I put inside. The only issue I have is the house itself isn't very sturdy for a rambunctious kitten. He collapses the roof almost every night and the sides are starting to bend. Looking for ways to reenforce the structure a bit.But all in all, not bad for the price.

10/10
My cats love this cat house so I got one for my living room and one for the porch for my strays. It’s so easy to assemble and it’s weather resistant and cat approved! It can fit 2 medium size cats or one big cat and my cats love laying in it and it’s like a little cat house inside my house for my cats to find peace for people and other pets. It’s very easy to clean and it’s a nice material and the inside is soft and comfortable for my cats to lay or play. It works great for outside it helps my strays stay dry and gives them a safe place to sleep. It comes with everything you need to set it up, it has the piks to hold it in the ground. It’s sturdy and it’s perfect for my cats but could also work for a small dog. I got the camouflage colored house and they blend in nicely outside. Love these cat homes!!! 10/10 Best Buy!!! Such a great deal for this amazing cat house!

Not Waterproof
I bought this shelter because it shows protection from the rain. A cat in my neighborhood is always in my yard, but I know she was (or is?) someone's pet because she's very friendly. I think she's semi abandoned because I always see her under cars when it rains and I have never seen her at "home". I bought this to give her a place to shelter from rain and within hours it was soaked, even on the inside. The material is like a polyester and somewhat water resistant, but the only real water proofing is a thin plastic sheet that covers the roof with clips (like bobby pins). I think I used some of the package plastic to cover an additional side but when there is wind blowing the rain, all three other sides including the entrance are exposed to water, and whatever is caught by the plastic drips onto the very edges of the roof into the fabric and eventually down the sides. It doesn't help that I didn't put any sort of platform underneath but I don't think that would solve the problem. The area it was placed is even under a roof where my front door is, but over time the water splashes or blows into the entrance. Later moved it on top of gravel in my yard to see if a surface with more drainage might help but it doesn't have a roof like my house entrance so just made it worse.Aside from lack of waterproofing it was very easy to assemble and holds together with a pretty good velcro. It comes with stakes so you can hold it in the ground. It has layers of insulation. If you are buying for a different reason they run smaller than I thought, I widened the hole because the cat is very fat, but I suggest going a size bigger than you need. I didn't love the clips or plastic, I think the plastic could've been thicker so the wind doesn't flap it and cause the clips to fall off.

Producto útil.
La use para un gatito en la calle, es perfecta para protegerlo del frío, aunque su protección impermeable no es mucho de mi agrado pero si es útil.
