It was silk I thought it was papper my wedding was outside and this material literally looked like a silk sheet. I had to send it back and didn't use it.

Velvet fabric
This is not a carpet. This is a very long piece of pliable very soft slippery velvet fabric. It is not suitable to walk on with a train on your dress as it will gather up the fabric. FYI if you want the truth.
