Always used a 2 gallon pump and keep it pumped constantly to keep max pressure. This sprayer eliminates pumping completely, holds twice as much, and has better pressure than max pumps and its constant. Super good tool.

This makes spraying weeds so much easier. There's a filter on the tank which also helps reduce foaming, a problem I had with my pump sprayers. Although it's very heavy when full (4 gallons of chemical weighs about 32 pounds), the backpack design makes it easier to carry than a 3 gallon (24 pound) hand-carried pump. But the best part is that it's always got full pressure, no constant hand pumping required. Just point the wand, squeeze the trigger, and you can spray all 4 gallons in one go if you want.The only real downside is that the tank is not removable, nor is the harness easily removed. That means you can't give the tank a really good flushing without soaking the harness, and you can't swap tanks for different chemicals. So you'll need to be careful about what you're using in the tank so you don't mix incompatible materials or end up spraying traces of glyphosate on your lawn.You also can't change out the battery without taking the sprayer off your back or getting someone else to help you, however it uses such a small amount of power this is unlikely to be an issue. I haven't used even 25% of the smallest 2 Ah battery spraying an entire 4 gallon tank. The older, rounded 40V batteries are just slightly too big and the battery door won't latch closed if you try to use one; this has never been a problem with other Greenworks tools.

So, I love green works. In fact I own a 12”e-saw and their battery operated sprayer. The only problem with sprayer I bought from here was the o-ring, it doesn’t seal properly.I contacted greenworks to have the o-ring replace but man the associate name; LINDA was so awesome, she help me all the way and solved the problem.

We just purchased this and the battery wouldn't. keep a charge. A worthless product without a battery. We took to a repair shop that deals with green works they agreed it was a bad battery. Green work is is saying we bought online and so far will not send us a replacement.

Holds a charge for over 2 acres! I sprayed vinegar under my oak tree to kill the earwig nests in it and it worked perfect! 75% vinegar! Tree is alive and well but earwigs not so much lol

This is much more convenient than a hand carried pump. That said, the sprayers are very generous so you have to learn to spray quickly in order to avoid having to refill it often. I am a pretty strong woman, but find it heavy to get the full unit onto my back and to walk vey far with it.

Great battery powered backpack sprayer. I live on 2 acres and really tire of pumping a sprayer for all the weed killer work I do. This just makes life so much easier. Highly recommend it.

Just retired , so of course I’d buy this now. I do have a 3 acre lot I use it on.Works great ( with battery) continues pressure. Ez right on of the box. 4 gallon is a great size too
