Had to use an eraser on the brass ports to get my printer to accept the cartridge.

Canon must make their money on ink for their printers. I've got a Canon printer from 2005 that still works like a champ that I paid less than $100.00 for. HSN somehow happened to be on my TV (that I RARELY watch for ANY reason except to catch up with the news and other current events,) one day and they were offering a bluetooth printer with incredible features. Since the one from '05 was reduced to lesser usage thanks to WINDOWS 10 obliterating the network it took a tremendous amount of time and work for me to network my 7 or so PC's to allowing me access to only one PC for printing instead of all of them, I figured what the heck.Anyway, the one on HSN (sorry, it's part of the story though) had this Canon 9xxx whatever it is awesome, beautiful feature rich bluetooth printer that I can now print from any PC save for the one hardwired via USB connection to a still - in - use PC that comes in handy actually, ANYWAY this ink is the de facto guaranteed to work ink for that printer that I paid around $70.00 (Seventy Dollars) for.i wouldn't feel right directing you elsewhere for ink. If it helps any, the printer this fits, but is not listed as being for such is the Canon MX920 Series Printer

This one seems to last the longest on my printer. The other colors seem to go fast. I really do not do much printing, but they install easily and work well.
