Lenrich looked into the future and was prepared with this quality keyboard case for the new ipad pro 10.5 customers
I would give this keyboard bluetooth case 5 more stars if option was available. after buying the fantastic ipad pro 10.5, I wanted a quality keyboard case to go0 with it. this is the perfect case, ipad fits in hard plastic back easily go in, stays put, and then comes out pretty easily. this case is hard plastic with a flat rubber outside, it won't get scratched up and will stay on your lap, it feels like quality should. keyboard buttons are higher than most of the keyboards out there, it's a nice feeling. side slip in hole for ipad pen. it feels exactly my needs, 180 degree folding of case in many hinged positions. It allows the tablet to be separated from bottom keyboard, firmly lift, but you may not even to do that since it folds so many directions, also, tablet section turns a 360 degree, for your special needs. the 7 color backlit keyboard has become popular. this is quality case and it sells for the price range as the others, it took 5 days, 10 hrs., to find and narrow down possibilities, once this popped into view, I knew it would be the best out there, since the ipad pro 10.5 is limited in choices, as more come on the market, you will make your choice just by looking at the picture

It would easily be 5 stars if the right shift key weren't crippled...
I was very tempted to give this keyboard case 3 stars because of a few glaring weaknesses. First, if you're designing a keyboard, you should know that one of the LAST keys you mess up and make half-width is one of the shift keys. Do practically anything else first - for example, make volume or brightness keys single purpose by adding the Fn key to their usage, or any number of other ways. To cripple the shift key, which is far more heavily used, is just dumb. This alone is so bad that I'll replace the keyboard when one that has the other advantages of this model but isn't ruined this way comes along. Second, as others have mentioned, the hinge is a bit too wobbly. Lastly, the pencil holder, which is a brilliant idea, doesn't work unless you remove the pencil cap, because the pencil will fall out of the hole if you don't use the rubber plug that comes with it to hold it in, and the plug won't fit with the cap on the pencil. On the plus side, the design is awesome. The ability to use the case in so many different configurations is huge. The case is secure, stands up by itself, and the backlighting options are very flexible. The quandry I had in giving this keyboard 4 stars, rather than 3, was mitigated somewhat by the fact that the one I replaced, the Logitech Slim Combo, is so incredibly awful that the Lenrich shines by comparison anyway. Logitech got the keyboard right, but the case, form factor, fit & finish, security & protection, backlighting, etc. are all abysmal. In other words, it's hard not to judge things in comparison to their competition and on that alone, the Lenrich clearly deserves 5 more stars than the Logitech - but I'd give the Logitech -1 stars if I could. Plus, as I said, mangling a shift key by making it half-width is really, really dumb, so it can't get off without losing a star for that.

Not perfect but pretty close
3 MONTH UPDATE:This is still the best case out there. I experienced a key that needs considerably more pressure (O, if you care) to register when typing. I contacted the comapany since this boasts a lifetime warranty. I was refunded promptly, no questions asked and told to repurchase again if I’d like. Which I will! I have also resolved a long time aggravation of having to use my touchscreen to navigate back/ forth in my browsers. Why this isn’t listed in the device manual or the onscreen command list is beyond me..but it is commmand + [ or ]. My soul can rest now!! Still no shortcuts for gallery navigation but I’ll live!EDIT 2: it was brought to my attention the "back" browser shortcut is listed in the command list while in Safari browser, which I don't use- it works in other browsers but will not show in the command list.Original:First, I have owned this case for a few weeks now. That said, here’s what I like:*Very easy to install and connect.*Great battery, havent had to recharge yet.*This gives you far superior viewing/usage angles than any traditional case.*Sturdy build.*Super handy pencil slot for your overly priced pencil for ipad.*Backlit keys for ease of night time stalking lol.*This case protects the ipad all around.*It just makes your typing life so much easier and pretty much turns your tablet into a laptop.*The color and brightness of the backlight can be modified.*Puts some handy ipad setting features at your fingertips (volume, media control, brightness, search, etc).*Color actually matches (rose gold).*Padded bottom eliminates sliding.*360° rotation. This is an extremely underrated feature!*The ability for tablet to lay flat without having to remove it from case. This is very important for those who regularly use writing or art apps who would still like having a keyboard!*The cutouts on the ports align perfectly. You do not have to remove the case to charge the iPad NOR the pencil via the iPad.Here’s what I dont like:*There is no “back” button. I know this is not a big deal but it is rather annoying having to reach up to use the screen’s back button when I am browsing online.*The delete button is right under the screen lock and is easily mistakenly pressed. As others have mentioned the shift key is also in an awkward size/placement and therefore typing WITHOUT looking is more complex. You can expect this problem on any compact KB though.*I can not navigate with directional keys. I still have to manually swipe through galleries, slides, etc.*The copy/paste buttons still require you to pre-highlight the text via touchscreen. The normal KB shortcuts to select text do not work.*The case is ALWAYS covered in prints. Just an eyesore but not a deal breaker.*When using the case with the KB behind the tablet, at around 30 degree angle and smaller, the tablet collapses. I suppose that’s to be expected but I’d rather it not!*Some of my buttons squeak and it drives. me. nuts. 🤬*Scuffs easily.*Bulky/heavy.You should also know and not panic if your kb doesn't respond immediately after its been idle. It is by design and what allows for the great battery life. It will go to sleep when you take typing breaks but pressing any key will wake it up and you can resume typing as normal. It takes a couple seconds but you would complain about not having power at all if it were not this way! Honestly its a great case, just with some minor flaws. You really can’t beat the lifetime warranty on it either! I haven’t experienced any difficulty retrieving my pencil as some others have. The logo on it is a bit tacky looking but again that’s minor. I’m happy to have a case that both protects my device and provides a physical keyboard. All in all, I would recommend!

Case is awesome
I love this case! Although the Apple Pencil slides right out of the holder, if you take off the cap of the pen it'll fit with the cap for the holder. I just leave my Apple pen in a pencil case and it's not bad. When I first got the keyboard, two of the keys did not work but I contacted the seller and they were happy to send me a new one in return for the one not functioning entirely. I was super sad about the keys but I loved the case so much that I was willing to deal with it, I'm grateful that the sender gonna is gonna swap it for me!
