Commuter Portal Wireless Speaker - 360 Degree Sound

The idea of the speaker is great and I loved every minute of this speaker when it worked, but a week after purchasing the device, it started having difficulties connecting Bluetooth where I’d have to time it perfectly when I turned on the speaker for my iPhone X to connect. If I messed the process up, I’d get weird static noise. After figuring out how to get past that hurdle, the speaker started having a green light flash and while playing music, it’d randomly start making a sound as if I was trying to call someone. No amount of googling or forgetting and reconnecting the Bluetooth speaker corrected this and Kove customer service was nonexistent during this. Luckily, Amazon took the speaker back and refunded me for my troubles after they too tried to contact Kove customer service and got nothing.I loved the sound it gave off, the rotary to turn the volume up or down and the overall looks of the speaker, but those issues were too big to overcome for me.

Update: The charger is already ruined. I don't move it around or anything. It mostly just sits on a shelf. And now it won't charge properly half the time. For real. Buy pretty much anything elseThe speaker emits a continuous sound when its on. There's no way to get rid of it, no you can get used to it. When turning it on, it makes an obnoxiously loud ringing sound while it's trying to connect, and there is no way to turn it down. It blasts the sound at maximum volume. It also has an annoying startup and shutdown sound. If you go out of range of the speaker, it will attempt to reconnect, while playing the ringing sound continuously for the next 10 minutes.Additionally, the charge area is not easily accessible. There's no way to conveniently pull it up without jamming some other object into the side of it. You also cannot charge this without it standing upright, which isn't much of a problem, except that that's where the sub woofer is. Which if you're using this to listen to music a lot, might be a bit of an issue.Mine also has a weird thing where it changes the volume randomly. If it's too close to the max volume, it will often turn the volume all the way up while listening to something. Or it will turn it way down.Ultimately I don't regret getting this. I listen to audiobooks a lot, and this does work for that. It's significantly better than listening to it through my phone. However, if I had to do it over, I definitely would have bought something else. Probably something a lot cheaper, since this thing does not perform as I would expect it to for the price.

So first off, I ordered this due to a YouTube recommendation. At first, the speaker looks great and sounds amazing. The base carries in any room you are in and the audio is super clear. Unfortunately, after just 2 hours of use, the speaker disconnected from my iPhone X but stayed on playing static. I tried to turn it off to reset the speaker but it would not turn off no matter how much I held the power button. Now it's just an expensive paper weight.

Only bought this, or two to be exact, because of a blogger on YouTube said you can connect three together and are a great buy. Mmmm, I don't think so. Kove themselves say they are unable to be connected to each other and although they do have good sound for their compact size I wish I had bought they larger JBL versions as I have heard them and they are BLOODY AWESOME.

Wellhead mini wireless speakers in my lifetime this one is by far one of the best ones that I've seen however I'm only giving it for Starz because for some reason another it doesn't protect the bottom speaker which I found to be very fragile. the only concern is that bottom speaker because if you cared it a book bag it's a possibility of something sharp or something with a rough is my puncture the bottom speaker. I would have given it a five-star but there's no protection for that bottom speaker if they would have put something like a grill across the bottom that would have been perfect Five Star Plus. However I am giving this one a 3-star maybe a three and a half star the performance is great no problems no issues whatsoever great little speaker.

So far haven’t had any problems. I bought it when it was 79.99 for that price it’s a pretty good speaker. And the sound quality is amazing plus the sub woofer, make it sound a lot more alive. But down side the lacks power and then a loud paring beeping sound once you disconnect from it. Other than that still a 5 Star for me. Those two problems can be solved with as simple just leaving it pluggged during long periods of playing and then just paid really fast or turn if the speaker when traveling to far from it.

Pretty good speaker that has a long lasting battery. But since about 3 months the volume has been increasing randomly. Usually this is only a bit annoying but becomes a real Problem when I'm listening to music while showering because I dont want to step out of the shower. My whole family complains that the music is too loud but I have no controll over it. The intervall of this Happening is about 20 mins. I hope for some feedback.

It stopped working. I was listening to an audio book on it and it suddenly stopped, it was still on but none of the buttons worked, I couldn’t even shut it off. Before I sent it back the battery died and out of curiosity I plugged it in and tried turning it on, it powered on but I went ahead and sent it back because something was wrong with it. It did sound pretty good while it was working, I may have just gotten a bad one.

Just found out that there is the exact same speaker on Amazon called Treblab for only $90. Googled it and it came back and said Kove is a scam. Looked into it a little deeper and found two other speakers exactly the same but different labels all for around the same $90 price point. Fortunately the Kove i bought was refurbished and i got it for $115 so i dont feel that jipped. Be careful people, research to protect your hard earned cash!

The sound on this is very good for something so compact. Nice bass, clean, pleasing sound. Arrived quickly too. Very happy with this purchase

It has a touch pad at the top to switch songs and sometimes you have to go slow for it to change. Really annoying if you want to skip fast
