I started taking this colostrum to heal my leaky gut per the recommendation of Alexandra (@highonfat on instagram//www.highonfat.com) who healed her leaky gut with colostrum. I have been taking it about 3 weeks and I love it!!! I started out taking 1/2 tsp twice a day then worked my way up to my current dosage of 2 TBSP twice a day. I started seeing noticeable gut-healing once I hit the 1 TBSP twice a day dosage. In just 3 weeks time my IBS-like symptoms have really calmed down. Before starting colostrum I got bloated after eating just about anything, had major indigestion. My gut felt inflamed and I was super fatigued all the time. Now I haven't had in IBS episode in over a week, my gut feels happy again, I don't bloat after meals, digest them pretty well and am having higher energy levels! I can't wait to see how I continue to improve while taking this. I didn't notice any major reactions or detox symptoms when I started taking this. I do have a dairy allergy but this colostrum doesn't bother me at all. Some people have to increase their dosages very slowly but I was able to reach a maximum dosage in just three weeks. I take my colostrum mixed with water in a plastic shaker bottle. I have tried just mixing it with a spoon in a regular glass of water but it won't mix at all. The shaker bottle works best! It tastes creamy and similar to cow's milk. So thankful for a great brand/company that makes colostrum available to those of us trying to heal leaky gut!! Thanks Surthrival and thanks Alex!

This is one of those whole food supplements that I can say actually works. There is a pretty extensive body of scientific evidence on the benefits of bovine colostrum and reading some of it made me convinced that it was worth trying and possibly making a regular part of my supplementation. The immune system benefits alone are pretty amazing. I did not experience a jolt upon using or any earth shattering, life changing immediate effect but after several weeks, I noticed an improvement in my overall health that I could feel. I felt stronger and more energized. Also, I normally suffer horribly at the beginning of allergy season. I have been taking Surthrival Colostrum for 5 weeks and my allergies hardly bother me at all this year. I do not see this as a coincidence. I have always suffered from an over-reactive immune system and this product has calmed it down. It is expensive but I have vetted other brands as well and strongly believe that this is the best on the market. I will buy again. Note: It does not dissolve well in liquid and I am not a smoothie person so I eat 2 tsp. a day mixed with coconut oil.

Have used this little over a month. I noticed that it has improved the thrush that I have had for two years. This is prior to taking Nystatin for three months before that made little difference in the thrush. I also had an open wound that wouldn't heal or grow a scab for about a month. On a whim I decided to apply the colostrum to the wound to see if it would help. In about a week the wound grew new skin and is no longer open and weeping. I am amazed that it healed it as I was ready to see a dermatologist about it. The only thing I worry about is that I have Hashimotos and that it may be making it flare. My TSH, Free T4, and Free T3 have been pretty stable for two years but the last result I have had all numbers have gotten a little worse. I may have to discontinue taking it because of this reason. FYI I started taking this because I have candida overgrowth and have learned that having a fully functioning immune system is important to fight it and prevent it. I do believe that it does strengthen the immune system.

I Love Surthrival colostrum. I love the fact that they changed the container from a plastic jar to a self sealed bag. What I don't love is that this is the 3rd time I have written a review and it has been not shown because it focuses on one of the following, "Sellers, delivery, packaging, pricing ,availability" they want my review, just "not in our product reviews" Huh? Other's got to write how their product was half missing and smelled terrible. Others got to say that their safety seal was broken (but I'm not allowed to say that?). I'm not allowed to say that I received the old plastic jar container, so I know this is old product and I would like it replaced or a refund because I know that it comes in a self seal bag now? bottom line, this is a GREAT product, I take it everyday, but I will order it from somewhere else now.

Wish they didn't change the packaging and formula. Definitely does not seem to be the same as a year ago. They also stopped making the chocolate which is a shame.

Appreciate the quality of this product. Very fluffy, airy and light powder. Mix well if using warm water or generously add to smoothie. It should have included a small scoop in the 6oz version. Enjoy the unique taste as well. Gratitude to the Surthrival team and of course always a shout-out to the hard working AMAZON team for shipping on time :)

So disappointed! I researched this item like crazy and the website stated that those with lactose intolerance can use this because it doesn't have the lactose in it. That is so not true. Been suffering from crampy stomach pains and even diarrhea for days before I did more research and found that colostrum with the fat not filtered out still has the lactose in it. I blamed everything else, since admitting that this and the capsules which cost me a whopping $86 together, was the cause of this. Please, if you have a lactose intolerance, this will wreck your system, guaranteed. For all those who swear by the colostrum with the fat in it, by all means go buy it. But for the rest of us with sensitive systems, the fat must be filtered out.
