Definitely worth the small investment
I have been having touble with tenn8s elbow for at least six months. I decided to get some physiotherapy at £50 a session. 6 weeks later while I was getting some immediate relief from the pain, it would always return. I brought the lamp and used it every day for 6 minutes, after a week it was having a long lasting effect, with the pain mostly gone. I went from not being able to lift a kettle to not evening having to think about it. I know only use the lamp intermittently when I get some residual pain after some repetitive activity such as tennis and it keeps me on top of things.

Excellent item
I advise you to use it on back and legs but not for the neck. For the neck one needs a not so strong power heater. This thing is effective and the philips lamp it comes with is a must have and very reiable ; Itvis the main player here. .I wish the screw inside the body was clay not plastic and it would be less plasticy. Yes it is a must have product . And excellent for sport.Highly Highly recomemend buying. Very Very effective. High power.

Immediate effect
Tried it as I have a bad cold, which was getting better, but still had a sore nose and chest. Used it for around 30mins, holding it by hand and pointing at face, neck and chest. It's very pleasant warmth so I enjoyed using it. After use I almost immediately got worse symptoms - migraine came back, runny nose and coughing stuff up - however I think it's a sign it's working, expectoration is good when you have a bit of a chest infection and clearing sinuses. Headache got treated with medication, so all in all I think I would use it again but away from eyes and forehead to prevent headache. It's clearly not great for leaving unattended as the base is flimsy, and you have to plug in / unplug to turn on, but for the price, and how I use it - I hold in my hands to point to body areas, it's fine.

Good helpful lamp
Does it job and warms nicely. My friend has severe problems with the shoulders and it helped well after a few treatments. Watch the heat.I had one before ages ago and it held over 10 years. The lead could be longer and an additional peg would make life easier regarding warming up shoulders or similar..

Bad quality as stops working very soon.
The first lamp we bought stopped working in a few days and we replaced with a new one, as it was an unlucky one. The other that arrived stopped working in a month and half, even though it was used just a few times.

Great little lamp
It works great. I highly recommend getting one for home.

Good amount of infrared light
The lamp is powerful enough. However it misses important safety features: there's no on/off switch, base is too lightweight, so it might topple over when you plug/ unplug

Heats very quickly
I like that it heats quickly and it helps to target the source of discomfort. The plastic housing is very lightweight.Good value.
