Probably the best value radio linked weather station
Having researched the market for a PC connectable radio linked weather station at a reasonable price, the Oregon Scientific WMR89 Wireless Weather Station certainly met the bill and Amazon's price was way cheaper than any other outlet I could find. It arrived promptly, as always, from Amazon and I have installed it and linked it all up and it is working seamlessly. The only small issues were getting a time signal from the UK transmitter where I have the base station, but moving it upstairs as recommended and leaving it for a while it soon picked up a signal to set the clock. The only down-side is the PC software which is not really Win10 compliant; you have to bypass the Win10 drivers controls at start-up to install the USB driver and then install the software in a base C:/ drive folder to get it to work (it doesn't work in the normal Prog File folders!), but once installed it works a treat and downloads data as an XLS for further processing and has a nice interactive display which is customisable, but you do not get any decent user manual to really help with this. You can add additional temp sensors, which is nice to have, plus there is a solar panel accessory for ~£20 available direct from Oregon (Solar Cell for WMR Series STC800) which you can install to power the anemometer and direction vane which is usually in a difficult place to change the batteries, as is mine, so I purchased one. Looking forward to getting some nice stats over the coming months which I then hope to load to the UK MetOffice WOW site.

Prompt delivery and easy to set up except if you have Windows 10 requiring another procedure which had to be obtained from the supplier. Oregon Tech were very helpful. The range of the sensor for the Temperature and Humidity remote requires "line of sight" with no obstructions to obtain 100 metres. Located in a greenhouse with the main unit internal 60 metres distant and readings can be intermittent.

Product works fine however, trying to download the software from Oregon ...
Product works fine however, trying to download the software from Oregon Scientific was another matter. If you have windows 8 and above then it is not a simple procedure, you have to disable "driver signatures" in settings (follow the instructions on Oregon site) this I did then the software still did not want to download. After e mailing customer support a couple of times discovered it was trying to download in the wrong place. That was rectified and all runs ok.I am now having a problem trying to move the date to Excel as there are no instructions for this. The problem is "how to change the date" The screen is showing current date for both start and end of data and I require it be from the start of the month to the end of the month to print off a graph of that months weather. It would have been very nice if there was instructions for this.Be aware this product from this seller comes with a 2 pin adapter and not a UK 3 pin.

hi to all that say of this station, there is the month from a month and I must say that it is well enough for the wind to accumulate rain and the temperature a little less the humidity sensor but overall I am satisfied. I managed to put it online with WD on weather underground and it's going well for now. who wants to see ISANNICO31 station online

I would avoid this weather station
Avoid - this weather station has a Very poor wind sensor...it only updates once every 50 or so seconds, we just had a weekend of wind here with gusts at least 35 to 40 miles an hour. Unfortunately, the wind sensor which is located in an area of the garden completely free from obstructions, only measured a gust of 17.1mph.The computer software is also poor and the station can only hold a week worth of data.

Good Weather Station
A good weather station, could be easier with the software download.
