GIGASET (Pro) N510 IP PRO

I've managed to utilise this box together with a set of Gigaset C475A duo and it works wonders wirelessly. Obviously it was not an easy task to set up a proper landline, but it works after all the way it should.

Bought this as a replacement for a gigaset 475 which had died.As I no longer needed a land line, this IP only unit seemed to be a good bet. Installation was very easy using the web interface. It performs much better with my voip service (sipgate) than the 475 in that it integrates with the voice mail etc. The audio quality is very good with no noticeable echo.

Excellent product. Means I can replace my BT line with a VOIP line for £3 a month.The set up is simple and the call tones can be easily set up to match the UK phone system.Call quality is very good.

There are places to buy it cheaper (Amazon price is now 76)Base is very good and stable. I would say, much better then previous 300 model.Very easy to setup via web interface or handset.

NB that as of the November 2017 3CX upgrade, Gigaset base stations are no longer supported by cloud-hosted 3CX (but remains supported by on-premises 3CX): my 3CX provider could not provision it and advised that it needed to be returned.

cordless unpairing can only be performed by the cordless itself, not by theweb panel, which is quite absurd given that it handles everything elsecorrectly.
