The quality of the seeds is very low, seems like they would be legit, but they sadly do not sprout. Or if they do they are not the plant you think you are getting. Furthermore they are not worth the money that you spend because like I said they are the wrong kind of seeds (and blue Venus flytraps aren’t a thing). After soaking, the seeds at the bottom will germinate, they did for me anyway. I planted some in Venus flytrap soil and others in a hydroponic kit (OODO). So far I have 1 seedling in the soil and 4 in the hydroponic kit. Wish me luck!4/26/25 update...plant turned out to not be a Venus fly trap but a white flowering unknown plant! Very disappointing 😞

I planted The seeds water them. It’s been about two or three weeks and nothing has grown. I went to a florist shop that specializes in carnivorous plants. I told them what was going on and I told them I bought the soil. I might’ve used the wrong water at first, but then they told me what water to use so I did and still nothing, I also showed them a picture of the Venus seeds that I bought and they told me that blue Venus fly traps do not exist. That is a Photoshop picture and that I probably got scammed.

My plants are coming up and I have 5 so far and I planted the m under a week ago. The picture shows two but 3 more sprouted🌱

Plants are often not suitable for some places and these were those plants in my home. I do have many plants growing and have started some from seeds and they've flourished. These seed however did absolutely nothing. Followed all the recommendations on how to plant and tend to them but they didn't germinate at all. I have another Venus Fly trap growing and while small it is growing very well so I know it should be able to grow unless this strain needs different climate needs. It's hard to say they are bad or good since they didn't do anything but that happens sometime with nature. If you get them you may have wonderful success or maybe not like I did!

After purchase and before arrival, I learned that there's no such thing as blue fly traps. Ok, whatever. I'll just have a normal fly trap. No biggie. Except it's not even a fly trap plant. Idk what it is but it's not a venus fly trap. My plant ID app keeping calling it a tomato though the seeds don't look like tomato seeds so who the hell knows what this is... don't buy into this scam!

I bought these as a gift for my friend’s parents. It was my mistake when I first purchased because I had thought it was the plant itself that was paying for. I was surprised when my order came and almost had thrown the seeds away. I had ordered other items and gifts for people as it was the holidays. I then realize it was the seeds. My friends parents love to garden and that’s why I was going to gift them this plant. It ended up working out because they bought special soil and tried to grow them. However, the plants only sprouted and then died. No matter what they did the plants always died. They tried over and over again till they ran out of seeds. Super difficult plants to grow. Next time I will buy a normal Venus fly trap as I know amazon sells those without having to grow them from seed. Wish I could have seen these seeds grow because the plant does look beautiful. Also, I didn’t realize they were seeds due to the price. If I had read the description properly I would have known it was not. I believe these are really expensive for seeds, but it is a tropical plant. Wouldn’t buy again.
